The ending to Mass Effect 3 was beautiful. Yes, there are complaints to be made, but it deserves NOTHING compared to what you people have done.

In terms of this, just stop it. There is ALWAYS more to be put into a game, but devs have to draw a line somewhere.

I left this forum for several months just to escape bullshit like this, but I can see things haven't improved.

I physically can not go back and play ME1 again, because going through it I know that all the best parts of the lore that was established are just going to be torn to shreds at the end of this Shepard's run. And that's terrible.

So yes, for me at least, the last 5 minutes have killed any desire to play Mass Effect at all.

yeah I heard about the crew members being cut but not the assignment of War assets thing that was what I thought was going to happen so what happened was either:
1. bioware ran out of time of time and rushed towards the deadline because EA wouldn't make any more delays
or
2. they got lazy

And from the looks of things it was a combination of both

Judging from previous experiences with EA, namely Warhammer Online? Deadlines, deadlines, more deadlines. They're not Blizzard who will postpone a game two years because they want to polish it, they will allow at most half a year of delay and that's it.

That's it. That's it. Fuck this shit. It's one thing to Bioware to screw up, these things can happend. But screwing up because of no apparent reason is something unforgivable. True, it wouldn't fix the endings, but it would make them less shit, and they could have gone with the Citadel-level indocrination theory for the rest.

Bioware as never been the same since EA bought them. The Mass Effect series, until now, was the only series that remained untouched by those douches. Now it's ruined.

"Fuck you Bioware" is my message. I was excited about the new CnC Generals. Now, after seeing how much you can screw up, I can't even feel hyped. You ruined my joy for the Mass Effect series, you ruined my joy for anything that you did and anything that you will do.

To end this rage-filled post, I'm just gonna say: people aren't taking this easy. Bioware is going to suffer some pretty bad boycotts in the future, mark my words. If they don't do anything now (fix the fucking endings) they are doomed to die in their own shame in the future.

It does make it impossible for me to play ME3. ME I can't play because it's buggy pile of shit that doesn't run properly on my GPU or CPU or whetever the fuck it hates with passion, and I can play ME2 for the dialog and better missions and actual ending, and I might sometimes drop into ME3's multi for one of those weekends, but... Not going to play the single player for a long, long time.

Probably after I get bored with Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, Prototype 2, all the games I haven't finished... it might be as long as 3-4 years before replaying ME3.

Compare it to me replaying ME2 at most two days after finishing it the first time? Horrible ending gives horrible results.

That's not the point. Yes, it was a good ending, it wasn't a good ending to Mass Effect. It was a ending to a completely different series, that made no sense in the context and made more holes in the plot than a fully-loaded minigun against a piece of paper. It was not the ending the series deserved. It was a rushed out, imcompatible piece of shit that deserves all the hate it is getting and more.

My Femshep will be ignored for a long time. All ME3 will hear for me for a year or two is the ocasional multiplayer match and that's it.

I honestly don't care about the "new" ending, because I enjoyed it as it was, now it's very binary and shitty to have it all come down to three distinct choices human revolution style, but otherwise I consider myself happy with the ending.
