"I mean, seriously." She grabs Salt by the shoulders, looking into his eyes with the most solemn stare, "There has been a secret I've kept hidden from everyone. Not Waffles, not my own daughter knows about it. I trust you and only you with it."
She says nothing and just stares deeply into Salt's eyes, "I trust," She states, "And only you." She breaks her freakishly hard grip and says, "It's about Waffles' and my parents..."
I turn to the sound and spot Knife.
"Oh. There he is."
I draw a gun and shoot a bunch of holes in the glass.
Because, as any electrician will tell you, fuse boxes can only benefit from being hit with gallons of water,
"Ever since I was young, I've felt like I was so incompetent and frail. I just sorta...Wrapped myself into this shell and stayed in there. But, I knew, I was just lying to myself. I was lying to myself and was weak for doing it. Everyone said that I was; why shouldn't it be true?" She smiled at Salt, "But, you! You're strong! You're strong enough to inspire me to be true to myself! I'm...I'm..."
