I concentrate and summon a legion of Smoothie Demons to Zombie Mall.

I aim the turret at the sludge shadow- what the fuck is this shit!? I stare at smoothie beasts in shock, before yelling,
"CAAAAAAAASSSTTTTEEEEELLLLLLLLL!" I mow most of them down with my turret, before leaping off the parapet, down into the horde, slicing and dicing. Eventually, the first wave stops. I reload the gun, and get ready for the next wave.

I wake up in the wreckage of the pelican and look around "Everyone Okay?"

"Ah yes, our other visitors." I appear in front of the three who arrived in the pelican and beckon them to follow me, leading them to the great hall where the rest of us have assembled, carrying the Knives on my shoulders and setting them down in chairs.

I look around as I follow him "Is this place made of-" I scrape my boot against the ground hard enough to spark it "-Flint?"

"Certain parts of yes. Mostly for symbolic reasons."

I follow Paddy.
"So, what's this about 'christening' Sigma?"

"He was supposed to arrive as a newborn baby, so of course he's forced a complete rearrangement of the rituals, but Flay's such a stickler for keeping completely to the old ways. It can get rather dull sometimes."

"Almost every movement that would be undertaken within the castle is part of some ritual or ceremony. But now there's only me here. And I can hardly fill all the roles myself. I do what I can. But Zombie has taken priority."

[Paddy the Second]

"Repairing the damage he's done is the most important thing. I will consult with Salt about what comes after. I will just tell you this: all things come to Gormenghast."

I call up Paddy, after watching the exchange on my Holoputer.
"Wait, first off, I kind of sort of destroyed the link between both universes. Like, you know how in that one Doctor Who finale, they send the daleks and Cybermen through the portal, and rose slips, but then her dad saves her, and then they're trapped in that alternate universe forever? Yeah, pretty much that. Totally fucked this shit up. And now I'm-" I'm cut off by an explosion. Shit, it's one of those fat bastards. I get back to defending the fort.

"You destroyed your own personal link Zombie. There will be others brother." I gesture at Ryan and Trilby to take seats next to Salt in the great hall.

"But Rose came back in Journey's End and that meant all worlds were dying or something, then they travelled there and sent the other Doctor with Rose."
