Mall Fight RP: (CLOSED) (FINISHED)

"So, now do we get back to the surface?"

I exit the core room and re-enter REX, preparing to get it into the southern teleporter.

OOC: Last day of regular school, aw yeah.

I won't be back for another nine hours at the latest. In the meantime, just goof around where you guys are.

 

[Saltarius]

"Right, so we head back up, dump Sam G somewhere safe, get prepped in case Xot's plan fails, and other such things. No pressure. Noooo Pressure."

I finally make it to the southern teleporter, as I wait for the ironically controlled monster to be...controlled so I can get back up.

 

[MinimanZombie]

I sit at my laptop, still trying to figure out what the fuck the controls are for the controls of the mall. I've already flooded the mall up with sand, which is about knee high now, started a loop of Never gonna give you up, and started a few fires in various locations. I just hope the others don't come too soon. Or maybe they can, and we can leave this god forsaken place. Who knows?

 

[Saltarius]

"Actually, shit, while I'm waiting I'll try for this thing's damn communications signal." Whatever the hell is the antenna or connector or whatever for REX clearly wasn't hit in the battle as it works fine. I tap into the closest communication outlet on the top, just happening to be Zombie's.

"Hello? Anyone there? How's it looking?"

 

[MinimanZombie]

I'm startled by Salts voice. "FINE! Everything is fine." Another liquor store blows up from the fire, making a very loud noise.

 

[Saltarius]

"Oh alri-Dammit Zombie, can I not leave you for a few hours without the mall going to hell?"

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Nah man, its all good. It was just that...Paddy..Uh...Got frustrated! That's it. How's it going down there?"

 

[Saltarius]

"Seeexxxually frustrated? Seriously though, uhhh, yeah Sam G came back. Possessed by FLUTHLU. Just chalk up what we saw earlier as a mirage. In the middle of a mall. Yes, now shut up. We also kinda figured out what happened to Eric. Oh, and I'm currently piloting Metal Gear REX."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"I was wondering where Eric had gone...Wait did you say Metal Gear REX? I call dibs on it."

 

[Saltarius]

"Pfft, as if. And Eric's kinda decapitated and headless. The corpse is still in the cockpit. Don't ask how I fit."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Wasn't going to. Wait, He is dead? Like no respawn? Then I call dibs on his sword."

 

[Saltarius]

"Sure, I'm a more tech kinda guy. I could just throw the sword into the middle of our camp and however is still standing gets it but...nah you can get it, I don't care."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Sweet." I notice the sand is rising at a slightly faster pace. I also hear Paddy screaming something like:
"It's getting in my pants!" Yet I'm not sure. So I just say, "Any idea when you guys will get back?"

 

[Saltarius]

"Well, apparently the only way out of here is through a teleporter guarded by some monster Tox or some mysteriously cool stranger is supposed to distract. But this thing can launch nukes, so I'm not sure why I can't just brush him off."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Yeah well me and Paddy took on a massive horde of sludge monsters. Can't see why we couldn't find and beat the shit out of the monster. But hey, Xot has got his reasons."

 

[Saltarius]

"Stupid reasons...I'm just going to stay here until it's safe to bring REX up." I turn my attention to Knife and Grim. "Guys! You can go on ahead! I'm staying till' I can get REX out!"

"Alright. I'll see if they come out alright. I don't trust teleporters ever since the cat- Anyway, they should be fine."

I go through the teleporter, and emerge buired waist deep in sand. "What?"

 

[Saltarius]

Actually Grim, just use your teleport saw and cut a hole big enough for REX. Then we can cut this waiting for the stranger bullshit."
