Behind the fighters,
burnt husk begins to disintegrate. From outside, it looks as though it is dead and gone. You should know better than to turn your back on a fallen opponent.
crushes Paddy's corpse a final time, gaining a last bit of sustenance. It resurrects, bursting from its hardened shell into a stronger, more vicious, more clandestine form. It whispers softly, shuddering everything in its wake.

Lights flicker as
Core Team overloads the Mall's core. Lightning arcs around
and strikes him. He gorges himself on the star's energy, but realizes it cannot stop its repulsive feast. Its tentacles wave helplessly, banging against the walls as the beast is cooked from the inside out. The oxygen in the room is lit ablaze, burning away
flesh. Its smooth black exterior warps, becoming a cracked, singing mass of scarlet flesh.
Zombie clutches his head and screams in pain. He collapses as lightning strikes him, putting him into a state of calming shock as he floats through the ether of space. He switches off and drifts away, ready for his demise.
A gentle, powerful hum can be heard coursing through the universe. He listens carefully to the sound pumping life into all existence.
Zombie is taken on a strange voyage. What are moments to us last hours, almost days in his dream state.
Zombie awakens in the Mall. No one seems to have noticed his disappearance. They are all too busy flipping their shit.

"I'm calling it in. You guys get up here and get patched up... We've got a lot to talk about."
In the dark corners above the surface, a woman looks on at the Mall's destruction.
"They haven't lost their touch."
She laughs quietly to herself and slips away from prying eyes.
