If it was like a mercy killing, quick and painless, it wouldn't have been as worse (not that I'm justifying this.)

Still that is sick, no-one deserves that.
Thank God, the first reasonable person I've seen. OMG KILLING A BABY DESERVES A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL.
I'd rather that kid die quickly under a cinderblock than grow up through hell and end up involved with the wrong sort of people, tortured, and left to die in an alleyway. You can't tell me that dying at 19 with a knife in the chest is any better than this.
sorry but that's just stupid the child could have been put up for adoption and would have been sent to a good home they don't just toss kids into homes with people in them
You do know that few kids actually get adopted, and a lot of them end up being driven mad by the rest of the dysfunctional kids inhabiting the care centre?
you watch to many movies
I know too many care homes.
aren't those for old people?
Where I come from, we generalise.
well anyways that's just stupid if adoption didn't work then why don't I hear any stories about how awful it is? yes some people grow up like that with kids teasing them but that doesn't mean they can't be given to a good home

Isn't this why orphanages were created? What a sad waste. I've stopped being surprised by the depravity of people to be honest.
Also to the people stating that this and abortion are the same thing: You're fucking stupid.

Seriously? I hear a thousand stories about it. I've never heard a story of a kid doing better in adoption than he would with his parents.

This sickens me. I can only think of one or two things worse than this that I've ever heard in my life. This man does not deserve to live. I would shoot him, and make him buy me the bullets.

No, just no.
Why the no? At least explain your response if you say something.
Abortion is removing the baby when it's nowhere near human. Killing an new-born with a cinderblock to the head, is plain and simple child murder.

I'm not saying that adopted kids automatically come out messed up, because that's just not true. But it is true that putting a kid up for adoption is not as easy as it sounds. Especially not if you don't want to lose all your other children. I don't mean that smashing the kid with a cinderblock was the best option. However, I am saying it's preferable to having the kid grow up with a wasted life.

Abortion happens before the egg is fertilized and the baby isn't full developed, this baby WAS fully developed and would have had basic memory and would of been able to communicate (through crying and smiling etc)

OT: I'm applaud, honestly, how can someone do this to their own kid? he could of at least put the child into care.

I honestly can't describe how i am feeling at the moment.

This is just fucking disgusting man.

Seriously, the only logical thing to do in this situation, is to drop a cinderblock on your newborn's head? Are people really that dumb?

I just hope this man suffers immensely for what he's done...

I don't know, what gets killed with abortion hasn't reached a state of consciousness yet but a baby is just horrid. But I guess you've got a point, we're just being hypocrites.
The maximum abortion age in the UK is 26 weeks. A baby in the womb begins it's sleeping pattern at around 10-14 weeks, that means there's a difference between awake and asleep.

That's one problem with abortion, however my biggest problem is taking away someones chance at life because it doesn't fit in with yours.

Selfish.

Not exactly the same thing but pretty close.

The thing is people will react much more to this than they would to any story of abortion because they could see this but they can't see the fetus being sucked out of the womb before it even gets a chance at life.

If you don't want kids get a fucking vasectomy.

Actually, LOTS of children get adopted. I have numerous friends with adopted children. It's annoying as heck to adopt within the U.S. though--the local group that meets has people who adopt from all across the world. The average wait time if you want to adopt within the U.S. is four times as long as adopting from, say, Ethiopia.

It's relative. Lots of children getting adopted doesn't mean that a lot OF the children get adopted. If that makes sense.
