I am sickened and horrified. If they couldn't afford a child then the answer is simple. Don't have a child. If something goes wrong and you do end up pregnant with a child you cannot provide for, put them up for adoption and let the child be brought up in a loving family. I hope he never see's the light of day again.
Abortion happens before the egg is fertilized enough to even be classified as.. I think living, actually. As it hasn't gone through every stage required (I think there are seven... Respiration's one of them). This is a fully conscious baby. It can make noise, have faint recognition and memory. These are two completely different things.Markgraf said:

Have a baby you simply can't keep? You let the systems we have in place take care of it. Leave on a stranger's doorstep if you want.

Every state has some form of Safe Haven law. There is ZERO mitigating factors for this whatsoever, aside from insanity.
Sane or not, however, this person needs to never breath free air again. If he has this much of an depraved indifference to the life of an infant, then he's a potential threat to anybody he's allowed to come into contact with.
