Personally I still think the best and safest counter protest is ridicule, make them look stupid enough and outnumber them and they tend to pack up and leave town.
Nothing quite so satisfying as the videos and pictures I've seen of them surrounded by students and the like with silly slogans on their banners like 'God hates Flags'.
I guess having read this whole thread, there's some truth in saying they're entitled to believe what they want, but I don't think they're entitled to call themselves Christians for pulling one line out of the entire book and going entirely against nearly all the rest of it.
It'd be like me protesting pet stores for selling snakes because they spread the word of eeeevil. Except I'd still be less nutty than that lot.
Strange how America's seen as the gun crazy violent nation, whereas , as a Brit, I fully agree that someone would have stabbed at least one of the WBC at their first funeral protest, then stabbed them again, then filmed it on a phone they'd stolen, and uploaded it to youtube with the title 'lol I stabbed up some yank bender innit'. Mmmm stereotypes.
who are these people who need legal advice and representation so bad they turn to the WBC tho, and what kind of sinners are the WBC defending from justice?
