hate speech is only a crime when its attempting to get people to inflict harm on others, at most these assholes are just being assholes, at least from what Ive seen, really what they are hoping for is either the police breaking them up or to get assaulted in such a way as to look like the victims, if the police break them up then they can sue the govt, if they look like victims then they can get ppl on their side

I honestly can't say I'm surprised. "Technically you can't do this or that" can only go so far when you're pissing people off like this. This is one of those rare cases where it's pretty hard not to root for the guy with pepper spray.
