1 would easily be Wolverine. The writers have written him down in many situations, but if you've played X-Men Origins: Wolverine, you know that ************ is unstoppable.

2... After Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, probably Deadpool.
I know pleanty of people that would disagree with you on Deadpool... and a few that would likely hunt you down for even thinking that, but those guys are crazy anyways...

Anyways, I havent really a clue, but I would guess any of the heros in the upcoming Avengers movie as number 1.

For 2... I would say cyclops. Though I think the thing with Aquaman is that he seems to be very, very, situational oriented. This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman] got its name from basically the early form of Aquaman. Oh, word of warning, link is to TVTropes, dont click unless you have no desire to do anything for the rest of the day.

Marvel actually did a contest on this a few years back. The Flash is technically the strongest superhero Marvel has. He can literally destroy worlds, go back and forward in time, is basically immortal. Alot of people also said Hulk, who is a likely second, because his power is immeasurable. He gets stronger as he gets angrier, so there is technically no limit to his power.

The worst Marvel character in MY opinion, is Black Panther. Totally useless racial pandering stereotype.

Last time I checked, Flash was DC. Or is this another case like Captain Marvel, where Marvel has their own character with the same name?

Ok, changed my mind. Weakest character in Marvel's universe, by story, writing, character depth, powers, and issue count, is IMHO The Punisher. He's a REALLY angry Vietnam vet with a bAAAAAAD case of PTSD and alot of guns. He's also really tall, has been shot 6 times with a .357 and lived, and has a deep voice. Other then that, he's got no real character depth, or character growth. And no real connection to any of the major bases of comic book readers. He's a technological hero, meaning he has no "superpowers", at least none that cannot be obtained by any average person through time and training. He never really has any motivators except to fight crime, and also terminators (Horrible Wolverine/Punisher/Terminator crossover).

Also, although he had Kirby at the helm, it wasn't Kirby's best stuff. Castle never really speaks, or shows emotion other than anger. He's sorta like Hulk, only without the Banner alter-ego.

Any one want to disagree? Just my opinion, but if there are people out there with better knowledge of Frank Castle, please fill me in.

1: Who is the most powerful character in Marvel's creation?
The Hulk, nearly unlimited strength, madder he gets the stronger he becomes.
As her nearly beat into submission every other Hero in World war Hulk.
And to the person who said Thor, Hulk beat Thor to near death quite a few times.
Incorrect!!

Dr.Strange defeated Hulk with great ease. Dr.Doom has at times been on par with Dr.Strange (They teamed up and defeated the devil...THE DEVIL...IN HELL).

However...

Squirrel Girl defeated Dr.Doom many a time and according to the Official Marvel Wiki website also has the highest power rating.

So Hulk is but one over rated character. I mean he couldn't take on Onslaught(another contender for 1) on his own he was working with all the other Marvel Heroes in the story arc.
There is no actual Devil in the Marvel Comics Universe 616, closest thing Marvel have is Mephisto. Satan was retcon out of the 616 universe.

Keep in mind Hulk laid out and beaten whole groups of Heros in World War Hulk, Dr Strange have to result using forbidden powers to try to stop the Hulk, and hulk just crushed his hands and bound him in chains.

Squirrel Girl? You know Squirrel Girl exist just to troll marvel comic readers. She is a joke character.

Onslaught, the combination of Xaiver and Magneto, which now no longer exist And a villian. Were talking about number 1 Hero here.

I do also want to point this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onslaught_%28comics%29

When the HULK is able to destroy Onslaught's armor, however, the villain then exists as pure psionic energy. This results in many of the non-mutant superheroes sacrificing their lives by entering Onslaught's form, disrupting the villain from within and weakening it, enabling the X-Men to finally destroy Onslaught. In the aftermath of the battle, all the combatants are presumed dead except Franklin Richards, Nate Grey, Quicksilver, the Hulk (who was physically separated from his alter ego Bruce Banner during the fight), the Magneto clone known as Joseph, and the X-Men.

Hulk could not finish the job because he couldn't physically tear apart pure energy, but he did destroy Onslaught's physical form.
I know who Mephisto is and also all about Onslaught (have all the issues for that story arc). I was using him as an example of when Hulk needed help. Also with SG even though she id a "troll" she is still the official most OP hero. With Dr.Strange the "forbidden power" refers to him holding back his power due to him not wanting to cause massive destruction and death. Oh and Doom was at one point perhaps the most powerful; however he had to use all of this power to save/remake/time reversal/mcguffin/ the universe, which drained said power.

Personally I don't think Superman can hold a candle to the Spectre. In my opnion he is he strongest character in the DC universe.Even Captain Marvel can be argued as being stronger than Superman, but I digress.

1. Thor or the Hulk.

2. I'd say Cyclops. This is probably personal but I feel like no one could actually like him!

Edit: Just wanted to mention the Avengers / JLA crossover where The Spectre (Hal Jordan at the time) literally ripped two universes apart from one another!

I'd say The Sentry is pretty darn powerful. Most disliked? I dunno, Ultimate Deadpool just because he was so unlike the original?

Marvel's most powerful character is the Silver Surfer, hands down. He singlehandedly restored life to his home planet after Galactus destroyed it.
As far as their most hated character, I can't say. But I will say this: Aquaman is a pisspoor knockoff of Namor. Mr. I-talk-to-fish-and-that's-all-I-do debuted in 1941, two years after Namor.
Oh wait. I just thought of a hated Marvel character. John Walker, aka the USAgent, aka the worst replacement for Steve Rogers as Captain America EVER.

a few things.
frank isn't nearly as weak as one would think, he more or less a dumber gun loving batman with a mean streak to make despots piss their pants.
and lately its been hinted that during the pullout of Vietnam he made a unconscious pact with death for an eternal war, meaning death won't truly take him until his war is over.

also he was once hired by heaven(no, really) to kill the demons on earth, he wiped them out in a few weeks.
in reality most people would rather be fighting the supers rather than him, cause 1. they generally don't kill and 2. they generally don't skin you alive, electrocute your genitals, nail your eyes open, and light you on fire.

the Punisher isn't "just a Vietnam vet with a bad case PTSD" hes one of the most dangerous men on earth and if hes after you, god have mercy upon you... cause frank won't.

actually silver isn't all that powerful in the grand scheme of things, remember he had his powers given to him by Galactus.
i would say Franklin Richards, Reed and Susan's son, cause he had the power to warp reality at birth(this was a massive danger at the time) and still has yet to show just what he could do.

and yeah no one likes that fucking poser(tanking bout U.S.Agent), hes more or less the crystallization and embodiment of everything people hate about the U.S.A.(including us)

1: Most popular is Wolverine or Spider-Man, most powerful is probably The Hulk or Thor.

2: Least Popular is, by far, Speedball. EVERYONE hates Speedball. And when they reimagined him as Penance, everyone hated him even more.

(FTR, both Marvel and DC have a Captain Marvel)

Most powerful Marvel character:
The One Above All and the Living Tribunal, if you count god beings.
If you mean in the 'regular protagonists" category.....Scarlet Witch? Silver Surfer? Thor? Sentry/Void?
Sentry/Void is like Marvel's version of Superman except not boring....and he appears to be more powerful than Thor....who seems to be more powerful than the Silver Surfer....sooo yea. Him? Unless the Scarlet Witch is more powerful. Hard to tell...

Most hated:
I personally can't stand Squirrel Girl (stupid joke character).
I kinda hate Bucky for daring to take up the mantle of Captain America.
I don't know anyone who likes Jubilee.
Cyclops is annoying.

Superman=Sentry
Aquaman=Namor

In both(almost all) cases the Marvel version is the better character.
I think Batman and the Lantern Corps are pretty much the only things DC has that Marvel hasn't done better.

Even other less deserving men have taken up the title in the past? Bucky was great as Captain America.

Others shouldn't have taken it so personally NOT to do it.
No one is a great Captain America except Steve Rogers.

I guess thats just an issue on which I disagree. While I agree some heroes explicity own a title/mantle, for Superman will never be anyone but Clark Kent. But Captain America as a name is as much a symbol as the man himself, something that's been taken up after he's been thought dead at least twice before and will continue to in the future, as seen with heroes like American Dream (different name but basically the same uniform).

In my oppinion there's been three great Captain Americas, Steve Rogers, Isiah Bradley and Bucky Barnes.

Bucky may be the next best thing, but that's still not quite good enough.
There's a reason the gods hold Rogers alongside their own as a paragon and no one else.

"On Olympus, we measure wisdom against Athena...speed against Hermes...power against Zeus. But we measure courage...against Captain America." - Hercules
