Well since Mass effect got released on ps3 I was stoked and went crazy to buy it.
But ever since when talking to some others a lot of people seem under the inpression that mass effect should have been a xbox exclusive and bite my head off when I mention it that I was happy since I dont own an xbox.
And a lot feel cheated that it did So I wanted to know if others feel that way or support the ps3 release all the way and why.
Xbawx and Preystation can have their ME2. I'll jsut sit here comfortably with my vastly superior PC version.

Mass Effect 2 was already multiplatform, so there's no reason to be upset that the PS3 gets it too.

As a PC gamer, the only reason why I might want a game to stay off a console is if it meant that it would be developed with the PC more in mind.
One of the things that annoyed me about the direction of DA:2

But apparently they're implementing a PC-in-mind approach for the inveitably superior PC version.

As a PC gamer, I'm not upset. Some might be upset because PS3 get some of the stuff that was pre-order DLC, or can get the DLC for a rather low price. But it is sad that PS3 players won't get to play the original Mass Effect, which really does add to the ME2 experience.

Heh, thanks. I'm over it though, mostly because each time it happens I get to kill every last one of them in a big fiery death ball of explosive death. I also get to see the unveiling of the Normandy 2.
I guess, but i never really liked the New Normandy as much as the SR1. I squealed with delight when my Shepard got to buy the little scale model of the SR1......then i scowled when i realized i couldn't get very up close with it. Someday i want to build my own replica of the SR1 irl, though.
And if you want further proof, your Avatar picture is my wallpaper.

The Normandy 2 feels.....I dunno a little too bulky for me. or wait, I'll just go with this guy:

I'm all for cross-platform titles. I'm not into the whole fanboy console war thing, and believe that the more people who get to play a game, the better. I like the idea of gamers as a large, closely knit community, and I know that increased sales- which multiplatform releases allow- lead to better sequels.

That said, there are two things about cross-platform releases that bother me:

1. A ton of 360 exclusives seem to be getting ported over to the PS3, but almost no games are coming over to the 360 in turn. There are a few PS3 exclusives I'd love the chance to play, and it's starting to get a bit frustrating that virtually every 360 exclusive is seeing ports.

2. It ticks me off when a game is released on a second console much later, but is released as an uber ultra (sometimes GOTY) edition, sometimes for a reduced price tag. To be fair, this also happens with multiple releases of a game on the same platform, but it seems more irritating when the releases are cross-platform. It almost seems like a giant middle finger to customers who bought a game on day one and then invested extra money in DLC as it was released.

Don't get me started on that! That thing never landed on anything with an atmosphere! This just reminds me of this...

They're both oversized toasters with similarly capable hardware, controllers with virtually identical amounts of buttons in virtually identical configurations, and both likely put together at the same electronics factory in Indonesia... why shouldn't more titles be cross-platform, honestly?

Huh....i could've sworn i typed Ailerons, then looked up the term quickly to make sure i wasn't getting it confused and changed it to Rudder. Or am i building false memories now.

Eh whatever. :p
