Community manager Chris Priestly confirmed the news on the company?s forums, meaning controllers such as a plugged-in Xbox 360 PC controller will not do the trick. It?s all keyboard and mouse, gringo.
?The PC version does not support controllers,? said Priestly. ?They may or may not work, but they are unsupported by the game.?

Bioware has always been stubborn about this but in 2012 it's just not tolerable anymore. How many people plug their PC into HDTV's today? How many people would rather relax on the couch with a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse?
Well, you know my opinion, what's yours. Do you think taking out 360 controller support is ridiculous for a console port?
Yes, its very ridiculous.
Look, I can understand that some people prefer consoles to PCs, or possibly like the simplicity of consoles, whatever the reason, playing with a controller for a console makes sense, and if you have no choice, a shooter on a console.
But, if you had the option, M&K KILLS a controller for a shooter game, which lets face it, Mass Effect really is these days, I'm hoping its more RPG, but thats besides the point.
If anything, they should bring M&K to console (for shooter games and even rts games in the future).
But controller to PC? For a platform game, puzzle game, maybe even racing games in a pinch - sure. But for a shooting game? Sorry, it seems insane.
Why would you want it? Oh that's right to relax on the couch, wireless keyboard and mouse, and don't give me this propaganda that they have lag, that's made up BS but morons who don't know better.
Would that solve your problem?
