It's a shooter. Bioware is right for once, aiming with a mouse is best.

The 360 controller has it's use on the PC, but for games like Arkham Asylum or Street fighter and not shooters.

OK, am I pointing out stupidity when I say that not all games that work on a computer with Windows got that label?. What is the difference between a game that works on Windows and a Game For Windows? Please explain that to me.
Well, if we go back to where the GFW discussion started...

Well, that's interesting.
The ME3 PC boxart doesn't have the "Games for Windows" logo on it. (And I'm not talking about LIVE, just GFW).
[br]
Why is this significant?
Because there are a number of requirements a game must meet before that logo can appear on a game's box.
360 controller support is one of those requirements.
Really? Games For Windows must have Xbox 360 controller support? I guess someone didn't know that when they approved this.

Actually, if you click the link and look around a bit you'll find it's a "conditional requirement" that only applies if the game has gamepad support to begin with.

So basically if it's a game meant to be used on a computer with Windows it's a game for Windows then. Thanks for explaining the difference.

I play all my PC games with an Xbox controller (except for strategy games that need a mouse).

This lazy crap from Bioware is just another reason why I am giving up on their mediocre series.

I've been a PC gamer for over 20years, and a console gamer for just as long.

We all know PC games have been years ahead of console games forever, and the graphics capabilities will always be better. I too enjoy using mouse and keyboard when playing competitive shooters online like Battlefield 3. But to say that K/M is far superior controls in general is ridiculous.

Having a controller in your hands with all buttons and controls mapped intuitively is far better in MOST games. I've even tried BF3 with my controller in 64player matches and still done well, especially the vehicle, tank, and jet controls are SO much better with 360 controller. And yes even tho mouse is faster, it isn't by that much once you're good. Back in the Halo 2 days I'd have my sensitivity at 9/10 and got to where I was just as fast and accurate with kills as I was on Unreal 2004. Point is tho, in single player games, where you don't need that extra split second of aiming to kill the AI opponents, a controller trumps K/M most of the time, in comfort, intuitive mapping, interaction(rumble), etc. I'm at the point now with my home pc hooked to my 50" TV that I don't buy any games that don't support controllers(I still play others at my office pc lol)

I used to be a K/M elitist, saying "Oh you just haven't tried K/M so you're stupid cuz it roxxorz" but in all honest reality, you "elitists" are the ones that probably haven't even tried using a controller and seen how much easier, more convenient and fun it is to sit back and relax with one. Not to mention having full analog for games like Assassins Creed and racing games like Dirt 3, or even getting lost in Skyrim. So much better with a 360 controller. Period. Try it

Regardless of all these silly debaes on which controller input is better has anyone found or created a non xpadder workaround yet? If so could you please please post a link in the reply here. I dont have a mouse and cant afford a console pc gaming is all I can do and I prefer the controller. Im not gonna buy the game untill that happens. And I really really wanna play the game.

And to bioware, grow up. Yes it will cost some money to impliment this but a quick google search will show you that ALOT of people want this feature, i'm sure the increased sales however minor will offset the costs. More options are always better.

Here's a wild idea: just play it on the Xbox 360.

If controllers are an issue, why would you even pay for a PC game?
I should be above this but....

I can't afford a console and i have a good pc,

so therefore I (and many many others) have to play a game on pc but prefer the console controller

It is difficult for me to use pc controls due to the fact that I have a disablity that affects my abilty to use mutiple keys beacuase they are spread out too far for me to react quickly enough.

I have a custom made 360 controller that works the same as other controllers.

People want this, it doesn't effect you most games have it. I'm so bored of reading the same arrogant selfish opinions.

Regardless of my control issues more options are always better.

It bugs me to hell that developers do this.

Just because a game is on the PC doesn't mean it has to use a mouse and keyboard only.

Both Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur let you use a controller. Is Bioware unable to figure out how to enable it?

PC is a platform in which you may choose your controls, be it KB&M, game pad, joystick or sim controls. It's not unreasonable for someone to voice concern over a PC game supporting only one control type. The logic is that if my platform supports it, then why not my game?
