Raven reloaded the Shredder as he scanned the roof tops knowing full well that the shot had come from above and behind, "I don't see him Ver. What about you Lux?"

A door to one of the stores opened at the far end of the street. Out of it, limped a Salarian, using a sniper rifle as a makeshift cane. His suit had patches of dry blood covering it, and he slowly moved towards the company. Underneath the blood stains, the Salarian wore green, gray and yellow armour, with an emblem of another mercenary company on it.

"Target spotted, moving in to capture," Raven said casting barrier on himself while running forward gun at the ready low position in case the supposed wounded salarian tried anything. "Who are you?"

"Esten Vallock, truck crashed, took cover on store roofs to protect, you showed up and helped, I took down Pack from rear," he looked over at Raven while still slowly moving foward. He spoke quickly, like Dray, but rather brokenly. The words were racing past his lips, almost as if they were angry that his mouth couldn't say them fast enough. "You a medic?"

Raven glanced over his shoulder making sure he was covered,"Hey Ver we need a medic," he shouted before looking back at the Salarian. He didn't seem to be faking his injuries but if he was, well then he would experience first hand how much biotics hurt. "What company are you part of salarian?"

"Apex, only one left. Two others died on impact, the pilot and the Turian when the rockets struck."

The Krogan yelled over at Raven, "You can drop the weapon human, he checks out. Also, Renni knows a bit about medicine. We'll get you to the trucks and let him patch you up."

"Affirmative," the Salarian spoke in a cool, emotionless voice. Even though his body had taken a massive beating, he spoke with no signs of pain. His voice was even and unchanging, with the wounds he suffered not seeming to have harmed him the slightest. He shrugged off any help he got from the others to get to the trucks. He walked on his own.

When they reached the truck, the Salarian guard stood back and started working on patching up Esten. The other three went back to the crashed truck, saying they had to cover their tracks.

A few minutes passed before a large explosion was heard across the market, and more smoke started rising from the direction of the truck. The guards returned soon after, claiming they blew the remains to pieces, so by the time Blood Pack figured out it was a trap, they'd have been long gone.

Verahl sat to the side the whole time, silent. He was still shaken over the death of Xandus.

Lux and Moloa talked quietly amongst themselves, and Esten sat beside the medic as he continued to patch him up.

The Krogan guard spoke out, "Now that the deed is done, can we get a move on now?"

Raven glanced at Verahl, instantly knowing he was torn up over Xandus's death. He placed his hand on his shoulder before saying, "Ver, you can't let it eat you up in side. Yes, Xandus is dead, but you didn't pull the trigger anymore than I did. If we are going to continue we all need to be on are game. Xandus would want us to keep going and not dwell on what has happened."

Verahl shot Raven a glare as he moved his shoulder out from under Raven's hand. Verahl hated being comforted by others. He didn't want this to be interpretted as weakness. He wasn't mourning Xandus's death, but instead playing through how he could have stopped it. He could have tried notifying the pilot sooner, or refused to place him on the transport. It had happened though, and it was because of his mistake that Xandus was dead. He wouldn't mourn the dead, or let them pass with hours of tears. While it did shock him how much this mistake had cost him, the loss of a friend and what he felt as his first major screw up to his company, he had the intent of having the debt repaid to him from the ones responsible for this.

The guards showed up, and Verahl stood up.

"Now that the deed is done, can we get a move on now?

"If the Salarian's stable, I suggest we leave immediatly before any more of the Pack are drawn to the explosion."

"Touchy Touchy Bossman. Alright let's get ready to move out people." Raven sighed, comforting Ver though it would have been a bonus was not part of it, but he had succeeded in getting him back into his role as leader. Raven sighed before holstering his Shredder and moving back toward the group.

Lux laughed at Santius's naive and bold statement.

"Hunt the Pack? Boy, you've got a lot of balls saying that, even more then a few Krogan, but you're lacking in brains. Do you even know the size of Blood Pack?"

"Wait, you want to kill the ones with the most friends, and the most amount of people who'll notice they're gone? I stick with what I said kid." Lux sighed, his laugh replaced with the shaking of his head.

"Easy Santius, we all want to kill them, for a number of reasons, but attacking them with out a strategy is just stupid. We'll need to take our time with this." Sal said trying to reason with the turian. "Besides like Lux said they have the most friends who'll notice them gone, we don't need them on our tails."

"At this rate, you won't last the week. Hell, the numbers of Blood Pack on Omega along outgun us at least 20:1, and that's being generous to us. Learn to pick your battles kid, or else you'll wind up like Xandus."

An explosion was heard off in the distance, and the guards approached the parked trucks.

"Now that the deed is done, can we get a move on now?"

"I agree, let's move," Lux said while turning around and hopping into the open doors of one of the trucks.

"I prefer fly around and kill some Blood Packs campers who think that we are an easy target," Raven said as he slid into the truck pulling his sniper rifle off his back. "We can pick them off as we go, or as an alternate we can have Lux run his giant ass around as cannon fodder while we mop up. What do you think Lux, sound like some good fun to you?"

The Krogan guard hopped onto the back of one of the trucks, turned around, and looked over the company.

"This is what you'll all be doing. You're going to get back on these trucks, and we're going to fly to the drop off point we had designated earlier. We'll keep heading there unless I get a message saying that the cargo has been secured, at it's true location."

Verahl went to the cabin of the fourth truck, and took his seat again, while Lux and Moloa moved to the fifth one.

"Well this is a load of crap" Ocara muttered as he took his seat behind Verahl. "Boss are we really doing this?"
