Max Payne Puts on Pounds, Sheds Hair For New Game

Is it just me or does Mr. Payne look like a completely different person in each game?

Almost like the character's evolving, huh?

I like it. He looks like a character who's let life get on top of him. I'm mildly interested to see how they get him back to shooting stuff...

...I'm with Chipperz here. A man "evolving" fine. But with Max Payne, it turned from a guy who is kinda ugly, but in a cool way (Sam Lake), to a guy who looks a bit like Harrison Fords Son to the Condemned 2/Splinter Cell: Double Agent hybrid we see on this cover.

Unless facial surgery is a part of character evolution, i find it a bit arkward.

To move closer to the topic: I'm a bit worried, honestly, about the whole thing, but it is only fair to at least wait for a official trailer...

I don't mind as long as we get the same voice actor for Max.

If they keep the style of the storytelling and the voice of Max the same, I think it will be totally awesome.

Bad news, RockStar recast the voice actor. They think an older one is needed...

Hmm...maybe it's just because I live in one of the fattest countries in the world that I don't understand how Max can be considered fat in that picture. He just looks like a normal guy, albeit somewhat sinister, as if he eats little children's fingers for brunch, but that's beside the point. I mean seriously...that is not fat at all.

I'm not sure what to make of that... I have a genuine concern now that given the new character design and new location it may not be a Max Payne game at all, but just a shooter with bullet time using the name. Here's hoping I'm wrong and the writing is still film noir style and dark.

they made some cool games{gta4}
im looking forward to more destructible environments and better enemy ragdolls like in gta 4.
