To those of you who payed attention when the silhouette was revelealed, the mystery lingers no longer! Here is Zoroark, the first reveal of the next generation of Pokemon games and leading monster of the thirteenth Pokemon movie.

So what do you think? To me it looks like a Vulpix with too much hair dye and a few too many Evanessence albums.

I think I've seen that thing before.
Eevee and all of its evolutions
Vulpix
Lucario

They have really lost their creativity.
Well, the furries will like it. I can already picture the new batch of 34. ugh.

I don't know why I let it surprise me that there's going to be a 5th generation of Pokemon. I've been a die hard fan for over a decade but... why?

If this is the 1st one they're willing to show off I dispair for the design of the other 100 that will accompany it.

Of course, that's going to be his Japanese name... I'm betting his English name is going to be something less bad-ass. Still... The evolved form looks pretty scary. I imagine it'll be part Dark-Type.

damnit. They need to flesh out the ones they have. They're all poorly drawn, shallow turdballs.

When I was a young'un, there were only 151 Pokemon and we had to hike several miles each day through dense forests populated with Weevils and Caterpies and dodgy effeminate bug catchers in extremely short shorts until we finally got the ability to fly from town to town after much sweat and blood on our part! And don't even get me started on Team Rocket!

I'm not gonna say it looks that good, but it doesn't look too bad either. Would be nice to see what other generation 5 ones will be released soon.

Meh, it's okay... Looks like a Dark-Fire type. It also kind of looks like one of those girly pokemon (Chickoreta, Buneary, Piplup, Gardivoir to name others).

Doesn't look that unique

It looks like some form of mutated Vulpix, it's evolved form resembles some form of hybrid between Lucario, Sneasel (The stance), and a Ninetails with a dye job.

What does Zoroark even mean? Their names used to mean things, now it seems like they are just taking two completely unrelated things and mashing them together to name the Pokemon
Zor[r]o and [the] Ark

It's a step forward I guess, but overall I don't like it much.

it used to be something everyone accidentally did just by playing the game- they memorized about 80 or more of the pokemons' names and could name them in order.
now it's at 500, sin't it? WTF? What's the point?

Well, Zoro means Fox in Spanish, I think. I'm not so sure about the ark bit though.

Wasn't one of the legendaries in the last games God? I mean, where do they go from there? They've had legendaries who can control space, time and all of existence.

That's a pretty high ceiling.
