They don't that's the point, what they hate is intelligence and honour as video game developers (Wii, 'nuff said)Patrick_and_the_ricks said:They need to make a 3D Pokemon game with all 4 regions for the Wii with all gyms and pokemon. Why a fifth generation? There is already 493 Pokemon, I guess Nintendo really hates huge sales and money.daz_O_O said:I don't know why I let it surprise me that there's going to be a 5th generation of Pokemon. I've been a die hard fan for over a decade but... why?
If this is the 1st one they're willing to show off I dispair for the design of the other 100 that will accompany it.
Then Gold and Silver came out and improved everything (Granted back then the original art ream was still drawing the Pokemon now they all look alien exept the first two generations) and they hugley improved the idea of the first two games exept adding more stuff but still being able to go to the original region Kanto. That is why Gold is my fave game EVAR. (Also Crimson Skies)Maraveno said:Yeah and everything was original back then tooffs-dontcare said:When I was a young'un, there were only 151 Pokemon and we had to hike several miles each day through dense forests populated with Weevils and Caterpies and dodgy effeminate bug catchers in extremely short shorts until we finally got the ability to fly from town to town after much sweat and blood on our part! And don't even get me started on Team Rocket!

Remember that first gym?
Mighty fine mighty fine
The 2nd generation wasnt that bad....ruby and sapphire was the begining of a down hill slope thonathan-dts said:Uhh, not more. Pokemon died after they introduced the 2nd generation.
You forget, sir, the most important part of our generation: the ultimate wisdom that shorts are comfy and easy to wear.ffs-dontcare said:When I was a young'un, there were only 151 Pokemon and we had to hike several miles each day through dense forests populated with Weevils and Caterpies and dodgy effeminate bug catchers in extremely short shorts until we finally got the ability to fly from town to town after much sweat and blood on our part! And it's gotta be the right style too. Gyrados is nice. Red Gyrados is sophisticated as hell.Gigaguy64 said:Hahaha!Brain_cleanser said:Gallade's a beast. Especialy with Psyco Cut, he's rather unapologetic about destroying entire teams.Gigaguy64 said:i was interested in Gallade, i didnt even know he existed until i saw the Darkrai move though.Brain_cleanser said:Since I had gone with Luxray before, I went with Electrivire this time. He's a brick electric house, by gods. And if you were up for some real fun Gallade, the alternate evo on the Ralts line, kicks some serious ass. Otherwise our teams are frighteningly similar.Gigaguy64 said:I never got far enough in Platinum to get him but, my team was going to have.Brain_cleanser said:My friends said I was crazy when I made Houndoom cornerstone of my Platinum team.Gigaguy64 said:Houndoom all the way.Brain_cleanser said:Serebii.net has it listed as pure dark, according to the scans.Gigaguy64 said:Same here.ForgottenPr0digy said:Looks a lot better than the other pokemon that have came out
It does look kinda cool. I like its second form more than the first.
From looking at it and the name of the upcoming movie, i think its safe to say is going to be a Dark/Fire type.
And if it's dark fire, it better be badass, because Houndoom is still one of the best pokemon of all time.
man, not only does it have great stats....it just looks awesome.
Sigh, if only i could play pokemon.
They were wrong when they said he was stupid. I'm the one laughing now.
Pokemon is serious business with my group.
Torterra, Luxray, Gardevoir,Houndoom, Rapidash, and Staraptor.
alternating Staraptor or Gardevoir with Lucario or Floatzel.
:3
I mostly, and this is with any Creature/Class based RPG, pick my team members based on who looks cool.
After a while i then start to examine and worry about stats but, so far my taste in style has helped my skill in training strong teams.
It's a strategy that works. It gets me through the Dragon Quest Monster games, it's always gotten me through Pokemon, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I just never care too much about stats, since I'm blessed with picking cool-and-strong pokemon. My Tyranatar and Espeon from Colloseum and that I've carried on since then are atom bombs. And awesome in Doubles.
Iv used that strategy in ever DQM game iv played.
sigh, im glad im not the only one who does this.
Style before Stats FTW.
you are not counting the entire Tauros stampede, are you..?meepop said:lol. To the above I would like to say I agree, Ash always does have some new challenge bridging the plotlines. I mean, I thought all the early songs, plus some of the TV show talk and some of the games even talked about catching ALL the pokemon to be a pokemon master, and yet Ash only has...hold up lemme check. *Calculates numbers, drops all Pokemon games off a bridge, reviews all the movies* About 28 of them...lol.
Edit: Sorry I meant to the guy who said what he said about Ash not to the above.
GOOD FOR YOU!! (no sarcasm, actually, well done sir.)Grayjack said:They're still inventing more Pokemon?
