Looks a lot better than the other pokemon that have came out

It does look kinda cool. I like its second form more than the first.
Same here.

From looking at it and the name of the upcoming movie, i think its safe to say is going to be a Dark/Fire type.
Serebii.net has it listed as pure dark, according to the scans.
And if it's dark fire, it better be badass, because Houndoom is still one of the best pokemon of all time.
Houndoom all the way.
man, not only does it have great stats....it just looks awesome.
Sigh, if only i could play pokemon.
My friends said I was crazy when I made Houndoom cornerstone of my Platinum team.
They were wrong when they said he was stupid. I'm the one laughing now.
Pokemon is serious business with my group.
I never got far enough in Platinum to get him but, my team was going to have.
Torterra, Luxray, Gardevoir,Houndoom, Rapidash, and Staraptor.
alternating Staraptor or Gardevoir with Lucario or Floatzel.
Since I had gone with Luxray before, I went with Electrivire this time. He's a brick electric house, by gods. And if you were up for some real fun Gallade, the alternate evo on the Ralts line, kicks some serious ass. Otherwise our teams are frighteningly similar.
i was interested in Gallade, i didnt even know he existed until i saw the Darkrai move though.
:3
I mostly, and this is with any Creature/Class based RPG, pick my team members based on who looks cool.
After a while i then start to examine and worry about stats but, so far my taste in style has helped my skill in training strong teams.
Gallade's a beast. Especialy with Psyco Cut, he's rather unapologetic about destroying entire teams.
It's a strategy that works. It gets me through the Dragon Quest Monster games, it's always gotten me through Pokemon, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I just never care too much about stats, since I'm blessed with picking cool-and-strong pokemon. My Tyranatar and Espeon from Colloseum and that I've carried on since then are atom bombs. And awesome in Doubles.
Hahaha!
Iv used that strategy in ever DQM game iv played.
sigh, im glad im not the only one who does this.
Style before Stats FTW.
And it's gotta be the right style too. Gyrados is nice. Red Gyrados is sophisticated as hell.
Having Ho-oh just makes you look like you should be living in a golden palace.
My teams make me feel fancy :3
My Floatzil and Gold Slime Concur.

As stupid as this thing looks (one of my friends pointed out that it's essentially a Drak-type Lucario Clone), I'll probably still buy the game. As I've said before somewhere, this shit is like crack-cocaine.

Somebody help me.

I think the design looks like crap. But I'll still buy the game and play the everlasting piss out of it. Because I am Nintendo's wet dream.

to me, there is no pokemon past first season.
GO SANDREW
Why you like sandshrew so much? As a kid I couldn't figure out why the thing had bricks on its back... in fact, I still have no idea why they drew him that way. It's a s big a mystery as what the hell's underneath a diglett.

To me it reminds of Nintendo needing to stop making new Pokemon. Just stop.
Oh wow, you're the first person to ever say that. You're so insightful.

I guess Raistlin Majere will be the next legendary in Pokemon (offering a Macademia nut cookie for the reference, may or may not be eated by the time it is claimed.)
Heh, just read those books again out of boredom. No cookie needed.

okay, this is getting a little out of hand, they've had 4 generations of pokemon already, i mean do you really need to make a fifth? here's an idea for a big pokemon game, make up a new island, put every pokemon from every pokemon game on it, make a new protagonist, have him/her fight all the bad guys from every game and there you go, all the games in one.

That's too much data to put into a single ds cartridge.

If they don't have the story based on legendaries, I think it could be okay.
And a the monster like design shown in the evolution more.

You mean that thing were if you had a friend trade you a pokemon with cut (I actually caught a wild Paras that knew it once) so you didn't have to ride the ferry, then if you came back and used surf you could find a truck?
No you had to get a pokemon with cut and surf to cinnibar island using an even number of steps once you get onto the shore and teleport back to the city closest to the ferry and use a machoke level 100 in front of the truck and it will push it and you will find a master ball with mew inside.
Or just use the Cerulean City method, I did and caught a level 7 Mew on Red.

Quick question: am I the only person who got a little excited because I thought it said the new Pokemon was Zorak?

Does he get team bonus when used with Caramon Majere?
*sigh of relief* I was a little worried I was the only other person who read Weis and Hickman/

OT: I remember when collecting pokemon was fun, not a monotonous chore of epic proportions. How about this: instead of adding dozens of new, unnecessary pokemon, they improve on the story or add new features, something to make the games more enjoyable.
