If it works for someone and you know it, that's fine. I'm not much of a flowers guy because it's hard to find colours I like (blues/purples - most local flora tend to be sunnier colours) and I don't have a great sense of smell, but I'm not going to pretend I don't enjoy something just because there's a stigma of it not being cool.
