Hello mates! Do you have somekind of mental instability? and if you do how do you handle it? Or do you have somekind of "contact" with somebody that suffer from a mental instability?
I know this questions are a bit odd but I'm mostly asking cos' two days ago I got diagnosed with that I'm a sociopath, I suffer from post traumatic stress and I got some "version light" of schizofrenia. I really don't bother any of the 3 things, I really couldn't care less really but it got me thinking how others handle and live with their mental instabilities.
I also hope you don't feel offended by the questions, have a good day.
well first thing: we all have some mental issues that ties into who we are, our personality. Small ones are called nerosis and big onesare called psycosis.
I dont have a diagnosis or a problem but my friend who have a diagnosis sees alot of his quirks in me, and I in him.
His quirk is that if he does not activate himself he gets sleepy and the more things that are going on at once the better he can concentrate. Therefore he is a idea-gattling-gun and his wheels are always turning. That is called ADHD, where the brain is understimulated and you activate yourself. People like me or him, tends to be artistic, creative, emotional. Usually people with these quirks are either entrepronurs, artist or criminalls.
I work with a person who is autistik adn we get along great, there is no "normal" you realise that everyone is special in their own way, like your "normal" fellow classmate who dont like math, to your "unnormal" person with a diagnosis.
I even understand Borderline and the other diagnosis. For example when your insecure about yourself, you tend to provoke the people around you to get attention, like the cool kids at school. So alot of people have the "quirks" of borderline; a person who is so insecure of himself he does not know himself, cannot read and use his insticts, there is no border. Therefore such a person "experiment", provoke, the people around him to find out if they can be trusted.
PS. All these "quirks" manifests differently with all people, so you may have borderline or sociopathic tendencies and be totally different from me as a borderline peron with sociopathic tendencies.
