Trash metal and groove metal are best, bands like lamb of god,sepultura and pantera also classic metal/rock like iron maiden and judas priest. Hardcore punk bands like cancer bats and every time i die are also good

classic metal. It's the best kind in my opinion and it seams to have less songs about having your intestines ripped out via your throat or your nightmares getting raped....but yeah anything except super heavy thrash metal is good.
Could be a toss up for me bandwise between In Flames(trigger, one of the greastest songs evar) and DevilDriver, so either melodic death metal or groove metal
