Metal Gear and the Xbox 360...what's the big deal?

The PS3 has its exclusives, and the Xbox has its. They should not mix.

I have no idea what its all about, the video decription clearly states that the game is for Ipod but then again i dont like MGS anyway.. or any Final Fantasy past number 8 for that matter..

A 15 second long teaser trailer has recently surfaced about the next Metal Gear game. Now there is no indication of the title or even the platform the game will appear on, yet many believe the it will be for the Xbox 360. When I watched the trailer I thought: "Oh, that's kinda cool, I guess," but apparently the mere thought of a Metal Gear game on the 360 is enough to make people spread verbal bile all over the Internet.

So what's the big deal? What's so bad about a Metal Gear game on the 360? Why Metal Gear specifically? What about Final Fantasy, or Devil May Cry? My only guess it that these loudmouth cretins are trying pathetically to justify a $500 console over a $300 one.

To be honest I couldn't care less, I only have a 360, would it matter to me if Halo or Fable went to the PS3, not at all, I say let everyone have fun.

I honestly don't care, I found the game to be rather mediocre when I played it on a friend's console. But to answer your question, I agree, PS3 owners have been holding out for good exclusives, looking at their console as a long term investment, but with FFXIII turning, LittleBigPlanet and MGS4 are the only (allegedly) good exclusives they have

Nobody plays Uncharted?

I have. It reminded me of cough medicine. then I stumbled around for about 15 minutes feeling weird. Why would anyone want that?

no my friend! you must not have taken enough! It's called "Blitzed" for a reason. I recommend something hard and lots of it! Take it all fast and chase with some good beer.

Actaully, the last time they ported the game was with twin Snakes, which was supposedly awesome.

It was.

And besides I own neither console but kojima has had Sony's balls down his throat for years now, the only reason you go multiplatorm is because you want more money or you are unsure it will sell, and he was obviously confident that it would sell. And plus he may as well show his contempt for microsoft in some way, shape or form, and I guess this is it.

Or Valkyria Chroniclkes, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword or Warhawk. Those titles are excluded from the consideration as being "detrimental to the point".

Oh, and its worth noting that while FFXIII is going multiplatform, FF versus XIII will still be coming exclusively to the ps3.
