There is a real argument in the legalisation of drugs. Although the effects on abusers would be terrible, at the same time, 60% of all crimes in Western society happen due to drugs.
So, no, I don't have an answer. In my opinion I would not legalise anything, but I'm not a drug user, and I haven't been a vicim to any of these crimes, so I don't really know.

Um... Has anyone in this thread even tried meth, or do you all just watch "intervention" and "faces of meth" all day? Well guess what kiddies, I've tried it, and it ain't that bad. Didn't get hooked, didn't claw my eyeballs out, and actually had a stellar time! Maybe someone with an addictive personality would get hooked, but some of us can just do it and have some fun with minimal harm done to our bodies, and people like me don;t like being punished for some idiot that can't stop using.

Drug laws push people that are in bad places in their life further into the gutter, sending them into downward spiral.
What we need to do is learn all about drugs, from a young age - no propaganda, no lies - most drugs are bad enough that you don't need to lie to your kids to keep them from wanting to do them.

Seriously though, I'm not one of those "drugs are bad, m'kay?" kind of people, I like weed and someday I might even try cocaine, but meth? Isn't that taking stuff a bit too far?
