Meh, good riddance. Don't get me wrong, I loved how clever and creative the environments were, but it was also one of the most frustrating games I've ever played in my freakin' life.
I can see what you mean, It had big flaws thing is; I somehow missed them, apart from the combat. Like the Mako in Mass effect and other things most other gaming people find very annoying I somehow never encountered the problem.Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:Meh, good riddance. In my opinion that could push the envelope abit. Though I liked setting of Mirrors Edge.newwiseman said:I'd rather see the free running mechanic adapted to new title. Sequels are over rated.
I didn't like how that mako problem was resolved. "Hmm the mako is boring they say,.. remove IT" instead of "Hmm the mako is boring,.. lets make it FUN"Sleepingzombie said:I can see what you mean, It had big flaws thing is; I somehow missed them, apart from the combat. Same with Mirrors Edge: I acknoledge that there are problems but apart from the end combat I was not bothered by them.
True, but I fear "something different" will be just another bland shooter in order to make the investors feel less insecureSamechiel said:Does this REALLY surprise anyone? I was honestly shocked that there was ever talk of a sequel.
Mirror's Edge was a truly innovative game, I'll give it that. But innovative does not immediately equate good. It's the same with Hard Rain.
You tried, you failed, now do something different.
