The writers can't seem to decide on a personality for Rainbow Dash. In some episodes she's pretty cool, while in others she goes full on jerk jock attention whore.
Implying people are only ever in one mood.
Implying characters should have consistent personalities and character arcs.
Implying consistency is realistic.

That spike had the last line in the second season... and it was that awful bachelor party joke, ugh (needs less spike overall but thats a personal preference thing), I know its a small thing but once I realised it I cant ignore it, a tiny black spot on that amazing season finale

All my personal opinions mind you, if you feel otherwise I respect that, we are all entitled to our opinions

After looking through this thread, it seems like there's not a lot of love for the CMC. Am I the only one that like's them and Spike as much as the Mane 6?

Another episode pet peeve would have to be May the Best Pet Win. I seriously question why everypony needs a pet or that pets for Mane 6 is a necessity esp. when the pets barely shows up in most of the episodes (even though Opal gets more screen time than the others)? Also, the ending was way too predictable since they showed the tortoise a lot and also, there was a Rainbow Dash toy that had a tortoise with it before the episode, making it Hasbro's intervening. At least, they would have done a more subtle way of hinting.

Imagine if this book series began. No body will read it, even if it is explained to some extent in the next few books. Inside the classic Brown Leather Messenger Bags For Men [http://www.cwmalls.com/leather-messenger-bags-men-s-classic-brown-embossed-leather-shoulder-bags-cw980033], there are several smaller pockets for keys, credit cards, pens, calculators and money. Some classic cwmalls.com Mens Black leather satchel handbags [http://www.cwmalls.com/men-s-leather-handbag-2012-classics-black-leather-handbags-satchel-cw972016] can be custom-made with your initials.

While I do enjoy the show to an extent, I admit, most of it is just mediocre. A lot of the gags and characters I've seen in many other shows and some have done it better. Not that it does it terribly, just typically. It doesn't do them in a unique or special way. But it is, in term, a cartoon aimed for a young female audience, so

And while the art style is nice, but I'm not a fan of the "puppet-like" flash animation. Although I'm a bit old school when it comes to animation, as I typically prefer hand-drawn animation over CGI or flash. Not that I dislike those other techniques, it's just that I have a strong love and appreciation for hand-drawn. But even then, I dislike the Puppet-like flash animation. It's just so off-putting and feels unnatural.

As for the bronies, I do like them for the most part. They do make some interesting and fun fanmade content, and are part of the reason why I do generally enjoy the series. However, I'm not fond of the ones that look way too much into the show, and feels that there is a deeper meaning in every frame. For one, I don't think the show deserves that much analysis. And second, I don't think there is anything to analyse. But you know? Whatever helps you enjoy the show more, I suppose. I can understand wanting to get the most out of something you love. Although I admit, some bronies can get pretty obnoxiousness.

So yeah, I do like the show, I'm just not a HUGE fan.

Implying it's not. In my experience, personalities don't tend to change radically overnight.
You've never heard of "that time of the month" have you?

kidding!

Luna was written in because of the fan demand for her. It's pretty clear when you watch the finale that she wasn't supposed to appear at all, and honestly it might have been better if she hadn't. The way she was added feels rather clumsy, like they didn't know how to use her properly.
Can't argue with this, but I really don't understand why it was handled so clumsily. All the "Where's Luna?" wedding questions could easily have been handled by a single line of dialogue. She could've been on vacation or investigating said "threat" or in tense diplomatic negotiations with the Sea Ponies over sea foam composition. Whatever. It's kind of implied the way it is that she was completely oblivious to a nigh-apocalyptic invasion. And a thousand fanfics were born.... My peeve is a more long-standing one: she should've been visible all along.

They weren't repelled by love, they were repelled by the restoration of the barrier that was originally protecting the city in the first place. Cadence's love magic was restoring Shining Armor's weakened body and mind, allowing him to recast the barrier. You can tell this is the case because the coloration of the wave that repels the villains is the same as the barrier earlier in the episode.
And this opens a further plot hole. Chrysalis asserted that his magic was useless once her minions were in the streets. So either she doesn't understand what his magic does (which she should since she had him under mind-control and could extract his secrets), doesn't understand love (her food source), or foolishly just kept him around to gloat over his helplessness (in which case....she's got a lot of company). Take your pick there. I'm not terribly unhappy about it as the Elements are an even bigger Deus ex Machina.

It's rather hard to argue in favor of Twilight in that episode seeing as how she was ticked off that the wedding was happening without her knowing to begin with. She doesn't exactly start on the moral high ground, and then she plows into the throne room and declares that the bride is "evil" with no visible evidence of this fact, when it's known that Twi never supported the wedding to start with, and when her friends are all acting as testimony against her, and you expect Celestia to jump to Twi's defense?
This part was handled quite well. I was half-expecting that it would turn out Cadence wasn't evil after all. About the closest thing Celestia could've done to support Twilight - and still be reasonable - would be to give her a quiet talking-to and urge her to apologize. Of course that doesn't change the fact that arresting Cadence on grounds of irrational spite and being bitchy would've saved a lot of trouble.

The issue I have is with the hamfisted nonsensical moral. Twilight did trust her feelings - defensive, angry, vengeful feelings. I don't really think the wedding had a moral lesson and one shouldn't have been given. Or maybe something like "sometimes you never know what's right until it's too late"?

Oh, and one more thing:

I have to say most of these things are really being rather picky. >_>
Yes. Pet Peeves are, by their very nature, someone venting about some miniscule thing that bothers them. Very much princess and the pea stuff. There are some movies I can't stand because there's an underlying plot hole that, to me, sucks the rest of the film into a whirling vortex of meaninglessness drivel. And nobody else cares because there are autos going off ramps and colliding mid-air while on fire.

Another thing that would kinda be a pet peeve is Fluttershy's fear of dragons seeming a bit inconsistent. She looked like she was over the whole fear of dragon after Dragonshy until right around Dragon Quest with the whole dragon migration. Yeah, I could understand that it was only one dragon and not a whole bunch and it was to defend her friends, but still.
