I find that not enough games have post-retro SF cyberpunk blunderbusses.

I agree. Everygame needs the Wanderwaffe DG-2. On a serious note I to would have liked the Russian army to use Russian weapons that were current as opposed to the RPD. Also the M320 to replace the M203 becasue from what I heard the U.S. army is starting to phase out the M203.

Firearms that should have been in Modern Warfare 2? Any. Any guns at all would have been nice.

Like, guns. That fire bullets. None of these airsoft rifles we are running around with that cause your enemy to shift his aim upwards when hit. I wanted to see guns that kill people or carry some weight behind them if they do not kill. Shotguns are one-hit kills, yes, but they have the same arm-spasm-causing effect if you don't get the kill.

None of these magical armor-cancelling phantom weapons that ignore physics. I wanted to see a slightly realistic portrayal of the bullet-proof armor that we are getting so good at making lately, and bullets that respond to the environment in even remotley the correct way.

This thread went from "What weapon should they have included in MW2" to "What I don't like about MW2".
Almost all threads about MW2 turn into flame-fests. If enough people talk about something, this is bound to occur on a noticable scale.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go play MW2 OM because I can't stay mad at Infinity Ward.

I think Infinity Ward should have either given the AA-12 its actual magazine, the one with 32 shells and shaped not unlike the magazine from a Tommy gun (although, this would have made things a little too easy for people who use it). Either that, or leave it out entirely.

and the M40A3.

They were so much fun then.
ditto screw the intervention. I also think the M9 could have been replaced with the semi version of the Glock. The MP7 would have also been a fun gun to use instead of the Kriss.... Oh wait sorry I mean the "Vector."

M60 light machine gun.
That will be in the next game so hold on! Plus no one uses that anymore. The SAW is where it is now. Plus the M60 was a failure of a weapon. It had too many problems.

Well, I personally don't care what weapons they include in one of these games but they should have at least 6 of each weapon type. That is to say; 6 assult rifles, 6 SMGs, 6 LMGs, 6 pistols, 6 shotguns, 6 machine-pistols, 6 sniper rifels, and even 6 rocket launchers...minimum.
In the first MW they only had 2 shotguns and 3 LMGs so they've made a step forward in those two catergories at least but now the nuber of snipers has been cut from 5 to 4. They should've kept all the snipers from the first game and just added the Intervention and WA2000.

I would love the Heckler & Koch G36 or any of its variants. Can't beat German design. It looks so awesome.

I think that they easily could have fit enough guns in the game so that every time you level'd you get something new. There are easily enough guns in use throughout the worlds militaries to accommodate for this, really the only problem i see is if there was some sort of issue with programming (which frankly i can't imagine, but i could be wrong)
And having all the guns be balanced would be a ***** if they did that.
