im sure you all know the usual grief worthy tactics; camping, knife running, propipe with one many army

My tactic involves a silenced M21 (which i use solely for the ghillie suit and a few mid-long shots), a silenced raffica. tactical insertion (purely because i hate the default spawns, they always leave you vulernable or put you right next to the enemy), scavanger pro, coldblooded pro and ninja pro.

i like to hunt on wastleland and overgrown by crawling through tall grass and getting into a bush for a few kills then crawling along. i can get behind the enemy unseen and rack up the kills with my raffica once they are flanked, it also works fairly well on derail, salvage and surprisingly storm

what is you opinion do you think this is an unfair tactic, ive been greifed a few times but i think its a fair tactic because if im spotted then im dead

EDIT: heres a few tips for anyone planning on using this;

- try it out on 3rd person first just so you can see the shade of the ghillie on each map. a few times i was caught out but my ghillie being a different shade of green to the bush i was in
- watch killcams, sometimes you can learn from your mistakes and its easy to spot where your camo has gone wrong on the killcam
- if you have to get out of prone when in a fairly large bush (due to visibilty or prone block) then switch to your side arm, the big long shiny thing protruding is quite an obvious sign someone is in that bush
- hold fire, sometimes its better to wait until someone is out of sight until you make youre move
- watch out for prone block, that can really ruin your day if you find a really good spot that is spoiled by prone block
- be patient, youll see everyone sprint off at the start which is ok until you get with in sight of the enemy

No, that sounds like a perfectly legit tactic. Some people seem to think that anything other than face-to-face assault rifle macho man charging is noobtacular. Tell the griefers that they just need to suck less, or stop playing MW2.

As long as the game allows it (and is supposed to allow it, bugs are exploits) then I think any tactic is valid.

Do whatever works for you and whatever is fun for you. Screw what the whiners think.

All is fair in love and war.

If someone complains ignore them, it's what I do, then again not many people complain about me, I just run around with a SAW, or go prone with it..I'm Heavy Weapons Guy

They're just sore because you're being clever and patient.

I'm personally one for really close fist-bumping action, but that's just what I find more entertaining.

Nope. It's called Sniping. What you do is what a real-life sniper would.
thank you, so many people on COD call themselves a sniper when they have stopping power instead of coldblood and a thermal instead of a silencer. if you look at the SAS in real-life this is what they do

also the ghillie suit is an added bonus which noone seems to use, in the right spots on every map you can go prone and be almost invisible.

i got the last laugh on one of the griefers, i sneaked up on him got prone and sent a reply on PSN saying "turn around", when he turned around i put a knife in his face. he replied saying "you cock", i replied saying "you retard, you shouldve seen me coming", and he got really defensive and eventually backed off in shear embarassment

Your tatic is not noobish.

With the way MW2 is designed nothin' can be considered noobish. It's just common now; Cammando, grenade lounchers, akimbo ect.

I personally have a dislike for the Raffica because people keep killing me with it, but I think that sounds like a fair tactic. I mean, it's not like anyone with a functioning mind can't work it out and kill you from behind.

this is basically the same tactic as I use, but with the m9 so I don't think it's "NOOB", it's just a clever way of playing

Seriosuly, what ISN'T a noob tactic these days. Literally no matter what the hell you do on Modern Warfare some moron is going to call you off on it like seventy times.
"Oh, your a noob, you use submachine guns"
"Oh, you suck because you camp"
"Oh, snipers are stupid"
"Oh, I'm never going to get laid" (Not really but you know it's true)

It is nothing more than being an effective sniper. It is a good tactic, especially if the killcam is disabled.

I prefer melee battle myself (as Alexander Suvorov said "The bullet is a fool, the bayonet is a fine chap" and considering he was one of the 2 undefeated generals in history (the other being Alexander the Great), I'd say he knows what he is talking about), so I would likely use the knife-running cheapness.

Do you get better results with M9, i might give it a try. i used to use it but i feel the raffica has a bit more power to it. obviosly without scavanger the singleshot fire may be better on your ammo consumption but i feel the power of the raffica is so much better.

i might try using it with M9 or possibly the USP

thats the beauty, even with killcam all they can see is a non-descript area of grass and also if you move around killcam is useless. i kept killing my mate on private match and he didnt have a clue where i was. it was hilarious

i must admit i am partial to a bit of knife running, i need to shower afterwards because its that immoral ;)

I got sick of trying to worry about "noob tactics" it seems everything I do in that game is considered offensive. I mean shit, to some people you're a a noob for just playing that game.

Using your brain is not a Noob Tactic, as much as people seem to believe otherwise.

Have you heard the NEW noob call? Its called TRY HARDING for people who, and i quote, "should use the guns that are hard to use!". The idea is you make an optimum set up with guns and perks to allow easy kills. Honestly i cant see HOW you can complain about trying hard. Do they honestly expect the enemy just to let you kill them and not try their best? Online gamers are pussies now a days.
