Yea.. most of those arent plot holes, and way too many people take realism in a game far to seriously. Its a game, I play it to be entertained, so what if its unrealistic? Sometimes I feel people just do that to bash on MW2 when there are plenty of other games that are guilty of the same.

Haha, yeah me and three buddies played it for 3 hours last night.

Started out awfully but then we got a 14-win streak and I got a 20 kill streak, killing 5 dudes with one predator...

It's actually good fun with friends. It sucks you in with all those little rewards every now and again when you're lucky enough to get a game with a good connection.

The BS factor isn't quite so bad when you have people to ***** with, hehe.

Do you know what I find sad? I make a comment many weeks ago pointing out peoples petty complaints about this game in a thread not unlike this one and everyone ignores it. Then I make that blunt statement a couple of days ago and people here take notice.

i have to say i do get a bit annoyed with certain parts of the multiplayer, ive found a way to not get as annoyed, only play it for a little bit everyday, and play other games, as that's what a game console is for, to play many games not just one game.

This thread perfectly explains my disdain for the online multiplayer of MW2, and why I traded it in for Bad Company 2 as soon as I could. I think Infinity Ward just took a huge step backwards from CoD4 online by adding too many things and hyping it up as much as they did.

It does have its moments though. Riot-shield-only private matches are a blast with a full lobby.

Private matches of MW2 are brilliant.

We did one where you could only get kills by cooking frag grenades in your hand and suicide bombing.

i would play MW2 if the games lasted longer than 5 minutes... I dont want to join a game, get 10 kills and have it end. I want to play for 50 minutes and have every getting 100+ kills

I hate CoD multiplayer because anyone new to the multiplayer after the game has been out roughly half a year or so has to deal with all the annoying hacks, mods, BS kills, random kills, and f*#cking n00b snipers with their gay quick-scoping that it makes one want to jump out the nearest window.

I get the feeling that I'm the only guy on this site that has no idea what everyone's bitching about. I just turned VOIP off and kept playing, fuck teamwork. I don't mind if my team wins or loses, I'm only really concerned (and concerned really is too strong a word) about my K/D spread. If I've got a positive spread, then all is well. If not? then ah well, I'll do better next time.

Granted, I actually prefer playing CoD:WaW online. Killstreaks aren't as powerful and well, tanks. The only thing I find it has down on MW2 is that WW2 is a little dull after the 9 billionth game, but nowadays modern settings are equally dull. Besides, I love me a good but of history.

I play MW2 all the time and never get angry, but that might have something to do with not sucking, oh and before you say something about cheetos and basements I'm a lifeguard and spend more around women than you, unless you are a woman than you got me beat.

So "the cool guy" archetype does exist! How lovely.

OT: I don't understand personally why everyone plays multiplayer. All I ever find on there is a bunch of racists, homophobes, or just plain old jerks who shout all the time. Perhaps I'm unlucky here, since I do play rather well (I also don't understand the people with massively high ranks, who are incredibly crap at the game). I don't rage, I just get so bored with it.

Really? I really don't get that angry playing MW2, Halo 3 used to get me stupidly angry but I've not had that problem with either MW.
Sure I have a few bad matches now and then but I just work on through it and enjoy myself. I'm only playing to blow off steam in the first place anyways...

Edit: Not to say to say you haven't made valid points OP, I recognise the problems but they just don't seem to bother me that much.
And for some reason I love the fact that the multiplayer is badly balanced, I think it makes me play more tactically.

Interesting. Halo 3 never got me angry. My guess is that its because in Halo you control your own fate moreso than in MW2.

Yeah I checked, it was a guy from greece.
Basically stumble upon is a thing you can add to your browser that takes you to a random website based on your preferences. Someone obviously liked your post a whole lot because they added it to the pool of websites.

I may be quite unique in that I play MW2 just for a laugh and it doesn't make me rage at all. People take it WAY too seriously.
