You and me both. I don't care about any CoD hatred, any ending that can have me as numbstruck by awesome as Modern Warfare 2 deserves to have me buy the sequelMiracleOfSound said:I'm really looking forward to this, can't wait to see how it all plays out for Price and the boys![]()
What do you mean 'fail'. The PC boycott of MW2 was a great success.MASTACHIEFPWN said:Remember the Boycott fail for MW2?Selvec said:The suckiest game series ever returns.
Boycott? Yea Boycott.
Yeah, I wouldn't want to repeat that...
If for some really f'd up reason it was Dungeon Keeper, I wouldn't be able to hold back the tears of joy. Screw that MMO exclusive to Asia.hutchy27 said:Dungeon keeper that would be so awesome, I couldn't gives a rat's ass about modern warfare 3.Nikolaz72 said:The Biggest game in the world returns.. 3... But isn't the new Dungeon Keeper like a MMO made by some Asian company now?
That would require some maturity on the part of activision and what are the odds of thatEphraim J. Witchwood said:Hmm... Crazy idea, but just go with me here.
The new CoD is announced at E3 for November 2012 so they can put as much polish into it as possible, as they will be retiring the name afterword. Not only that, but the setting is in the near-ish future instead of the modern day.
Same here. There's really nothing wrong with the story of these games. It's FUN. Remember that, guys? Fun?Radeonx said:Yup. MW2's campaign was great fun, and I can't wait for this one.MiracleOfSound said:I'm really looking forward to this, can't wait to see how it all plays out for Price and the boys![]()

Strategically the gameplay has diminished. Sure, the weapons and perk systems have improved, but the maps in the original modern warfare were designed to storm and hold positions and used organized group tactics. Granted not everyone tried, but you could if you had enough people paying attention. MW2 and BlOps are basically random arcade shooters where you spawn in a certain location, shoot some people that you spawned behind, and then get shot by someone who just spawned behind you. Not my idea of fun. Sure, you can still use strategy, but it doesn't naturally emerge out of fighting like it did in the first Modern Warfare with its natural high grounds, chokes and spawn-points: everyone has to be on the same page from the beginning.Worgen said:I foresee it being a cod game and not being as impressive looking as battlefield 3
I mean do reveals really matter for cod games? everyone knows when they come out, they come out the same time every year and so far they have all looked pretty similar and had almost the same gameplay
