I'm sorry, you go on about amazing voice acting and you forget to mention Charlie Brooker will be doing voice work for Fable III (apparently)?

I intend to buy the game for his voice alone.
If thats true its pure fucking awesome. I love Charlie Brooker man

edit: As nice as that cast is sounding maybe peter should first work on making sure his game isnt completely fucking broken. Like as in,let there be an actual chance that the player will lose fights.

Sorry Peter, you're getting there but that isn't the greatest cast ever by far for that you'd need the following:

Stephen Fry
John Cleese
Steve Valentine
Tim Curry
Kate Mulgrew (She did an awesome job in DA:O)
Keith David
Rowan Atkinson
Tim McInnerny
Tony Robinson
Hugh Laurie (with real accent not yank one)
Tress MacNeille

mmm mostly guy voices, huh, oh well, that's the perfect cast, now get too it buddy.

Stephen Fry's performance in Fable 2 was one of the few things I enjoyed about it.

Fable designer and noted master of the understatement
Wouldn't master of the overstatement make more sense?

OT: It has Steven King and Jonothan Ross in, I'm game!
I think your sarcasm meter must be broken.

Whilst I liked Steven Fry in the last Fable, and I recognise Cleese is a funny comic actor, I don't see why they would constitute the best "cast". Surely the best cast is the one that has the best voice artists who best embody their roles - you don't need tv or film personalities for that, especiawwawy not Jonathan Woss.

But will they get decent actors for everyone else? Or will it still feel likes it's set in the deepest portions of the uncanny valley.

I think that I would weep tears of blood if Peter Molyneux ever learned to set realistic expectations for his studio's work. Is it not better for one's reach to exceed one's grasp?
If anything, he isn't aiming high enough!

Still, for press releases,it might help him to learn to under promise and over deliver. He should save the big dreams and inspiring speeches for his staff.

people are so harsh.. sure it's overhyped, but I always liked the Fable franchise dearly.

Am I the only one that really enjoyed Fable 2 :( ?
It was one of my first games I got for the 360 and I loved it . :)

Bioware's games want to have a speach with you Molyneux. They also want to tell you that you're overhyping your game again.

Also, you can't have the greatest cast of voice actors because unfortunately Don LaFontaine is no longer with us.
I don't think BioWare are in any position to criticise someone for overhype - the flagrant arrogance of their pre-release campaign was uncanny

Aside: British household names for a British game can only reel individuals in - especially the harder to hit market "non-gamers".

He just better have the script to back up these "funny men"
Seeing how good the Bioware games are , I don't think they're arrogant at all. At least they deliver.
If you work your ass off and you know the game will be good , making a good campaign ( even if it's a bit aggresive or seems arrogant) for the game is just the smart thing to do . \opinion

No! Bad Molyneux! Stop hyping it!

Has he not learnt from past experiences?

That does actually seem like a pretty good cast though....No! Bad GamingAwesome1! Stop getting hyped!

Oh goody he's got big names for big parts. Now how's about getting people who didn't fail high-school drama for the minor parts?

I don't care about the cast, I care about the gameplay. If they actually make a Fable game as good as Molyneux always makes them sound, I wouldn't care if he did all the voices himself.

Cleese, Ross and Fry?
I am in agreement, hell of a good cast of great british comedic actors, let's hope they make the most of the talent.

Hoookay. All we need now is Hugh Laurie, Barbara Windsor and Matt Lucas and we are set to go.
