Adding another point in the "Peter Molyneux overhype" column. I could give you some points for having the great John Cleese in the mixing depending on if you use him right...but you should have also added Eric Idle.

Mass Effect 2 holds that title, Mr. Molyneux, though this sounds like a good runner-up. Get Martin Sheen in there and we can talk, and Seth Green and Keith David would be good icing on the cake.

EDIT- visuals are needed. THIS is the cast of ME2, and I doubt Fable 3 will beat it.

people are so harsh.. sure it's overhyped, but I always liked the Fable franchise dearly.

Am I the only one that really enjoyed Fable 2 :( ?
Thee one thing I didn't like about Fable 2 is that while most of the world was a parody of traditional fantasy stories, the main plot is the exact kind of things they were parodying. Everything else was fantastic.

OT: You know who they need to make this the "greatest cast ever"? Eddie Izzard. And I certainly wouldn't mind Craig Ferguson, who funnies up anything he's in..

Bioware's games want to have a speach with you Molyneux. They also want to tell you that you're overhyping your game again.

Also, you can't have the greatest cast of voice actors because unfortunately Don LaFontaine is no longer with us.
Agreed, HK-47. Names don't matter, bringing the character does. If he let's the cast do what they do, score. If not, screw you.

Stephen Fry had a minor contribution to the last game and Cleese being your butler although amusing leaves him with only a few lines.

I hope they focus more on story and gameplay this time.

And I'm betting that no one who plays Fable 3 will stop and think, even for just a moment, "wait a minute, what is Monty Python doing here?"

God I hated Reaver, I know I was supposed to but that still doesn't justify it all. Great voices aside (and there were chunks of Fallout 3 where the only reason I kept with the plot was to here the sultry voice of Liam Neeson) having to put up with Reaver in another game, not so much.

Hmmmmm.....I'm unsure of Cleese. I mean, see him in person and he's the funniest guy alive. But that's because his wit is complimented by his hilarious body language. Without that I don't know how funny he'll be. Perhaps i'm wrong but it's a gut feeling.

i dont know, greatest cast ever seems a bit far out, is he only counting video games? if so, probably. but if he includes movies, then im sure i can find a few with even better casting.

however, a good cast does not guarantee that the game will be good. first of all, that is just three characters, what about all the others? second, what about a good story? third, gameplay. fourth, graphics. fifth, for me anyway, replay-ability. (i prefer games that you can play over and over again. i got oblivion when it first came out and only stopped playing it last year)

John Cleese... by god and the 9 hells, if that useless drab of a man moly makes Mr. Cleese sound like a wet board, i will never forgive Lionhead Studio's. Im still working on forgiveness from before with the last 'bomb' of a title for its nearly non replayable storyline.

Admittedly Stephen Fry was great as reaver and John Cleese is a living legend. However, by the law of Molyneux, the cast is going to be the "worst cast ever" ;)

the only name that jumps out at me is John Cleese, because i am a monty python fan, but stephen fry and Jonathan Ross dont really mean that much to me, sure, stephen fry was in harry potter movies, but i dont consider those to be masterpieces of cinema with wonderful acting

Way to completely miss the point of gaming, Peter. This is the whole problem with big titles these days. Wanna know why games cost so much? This is a big, unnecessary part of the reason.

I'm gonna make a video game with the entire cast from The Wire. That'll show 'em.

At first it sounded like overhyping, but as soon as I saw John Cleese I thought "Well, maybe he's got something going". Funniest member of Monty Python, if you said Eric Idle you're wrong. Series jumped the shark when Cleese left.

GTA: San Andreas would also like to have a word with Mr. Molyneux... Sam Jackson, Chris Penn, James Woods, The Game, Big Boi, Ice T, Peter Fonda, Chuck D, George Clinton, Axl Rose, Wil Wheaton, Lazlow Jones...

I think it's gonna be a long time before another cast of this caliber is ever assembled again for a game...

EDIT: Forgot that Andy Dick had a bit part as well...

A great cast?!?! AWESOME!

Shame they're in a game that might just be another mediocre installment of a mediocre franchise. At least Peter "The Hype Machine" Molyneux is as entertaining as usual.
