Cleese, Ross and Fry?

Hell, I'm agreeing with the man for once.
As am I. I don't think anyone who's knocking his statement here has heard what those three can do. Cleese and Fry need no explanation, but Ross can hold his own as an actor.

Honestly, I think this game only need Terry Wogan and we're set.

Hoookay. All we need now is Hugh Laurie, Barbara Windsor and Matt Lucas and we are set to go.
Oh. And these people.

[sup]Strange how we both said "and we are set".[/sup]

Oh goody he's got big names for big parts. Now how's about getting people who didn't fail high-school drama for the minor parts?
...yeah. Maybe you should see these people act before you comment. They're not big names outside of the UK, really. Yet, they're amazing. Especially Fry and Cleese.

Next time you comment, I suggest you don't follow the crowd and post something aimless and void of any understanding.

Speaking as a fan of both Fable games, yes that is an impressive cast but I want to see more gameplay, especially of the Touch mechanic.

Gaming companies have to stop letting Peter Molyneux say stuff about their games. It'll ruin any true potential their products have

People, just keep low expectations for this game. That's EXACTLY what I did for Fable 2, and when the overhyped game came out, I hadn't lost anything for being disappointed. It sounds like Molyneux's finally decided to improve gameplay, but the way he described the recording procedure gives me the uncanny feeling that they'll be used ineffectively.

BioWare are so far up their own ass they don't realise what makes a good story - or for that matter they probably don't care. It's mainline enough to attract the gunheads and the bedtime story readers so alls good.
Question: Have you ever played anything by BioWare, or are you just Ctrl+C/V'ing a ME2 hate post by some PS3 fanboy who has never played the game?
I'll agree that the pre-release hype machine was terrible, but BioWare HAS crafted a masterpiece with pretty much every major release. Are Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights not masterpieces of early days of the RPG? Is Knights Of The Old Republic not considered one of the greatest RPGs of the last generation? Is Jade Empire not a classic among legions of gamers? And I have no doubt that once the next generation rolls around, Both the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series will be considered masterpeices of this generation. You want to know why? For the STORY. BioWare always drives games with the STORY.

I'm sorry but your post is completely invalid.

OT: I'm really hoping Fable 3 end up well. I'm convinced that Molyneux isn't "some evil developer that only wants our money". I believe he legitimately wants his games to be great and fun and for players to connect to them, but doesn't quite know how to do it just yet. I just think he gets a little bit too excited about his own games, (which is understandable), and I really hope it turns out well. And with those 3 added to the cast, he's definitely taking a step in he right direction for voice-acting.

Sorry, Ripper claimed that title long ago, by having the one and only Christopher Walken.
Yes. And Paul Giamatti, Jimmie Walker, John Rhys Davies, and Burgess Meredith.

It's good that Peter tries to distract himself from his addiction to claiming that his games have best gameplay, best story, most options and is an all-round masterpiece where everything and anything can happend and even Yahtzee will soil his pants in amazement. I can't help but wonder if he can get himself down to simply claiming that things are going "well".

So they've got Stephen Fry, who was in the last game and was the character that no one liked because we weren't allowed to kill him, returning as that same character... Joy. Because his sole association with the last game made it a good game --wait, no it fucking didn't!

They've added John Cleese which, I'm gonna admit, sounds pretty awesome.

And Jonathon Ross...
Yeeeeah...
I mean don't get me wrong, Jonathon Ross is kind of funny, in a 'Ha, look at that idiot bumble over his shitty accent impressions in front of his esteemed guests on his own show' way.

Jonathon Ross as just a voice, wouldn't be as funny.

Also, Molyneux, as you're hypothetically standing next to me, how can you claim to have the best cast in a game ever when I'm clearly not seeing Liam Neeson in that list?

Also naming 3 well-known British celebrities is pretty much alienating the American audience, even if they have come to grips with Cleese and Fry And granted it's a game in a British setting, but there are other continents (Or least by now there bloody better be, Two and half fucking games I've been hearing about Samarkand and not once have I been there in a Fable game... MAKE IT!)
Do you honestly think anyone under the age of 20 and outside of the UK gives a shit about Jonathon Ross?

I'm thinking for the majority, no.

As long as I get to kill Reaver in this one I don't care who voices him. But yes, it is a good cast, far from the "best" however.
