Kang Ya, a 29-year-old from Sacramento, has been taken into custody for what police are saying were fatal burns administered to her 6-week-old daughter, via microwave. Happy nightmaring.

A 21-year old Bronx woman has been charged with murder and manslaughter after the death of her five year-old son, killed after he "broke the television while playing Nintendo Wii".

Kim Crawford stands accused of murdering Jamar Johnson after telling police she struck him on the chest and back "harder than I've ever hit him" when told he had broken the family TV set while playing a Wii game.

The incident took place on June 13, yet it took five days of agonizing pain - during which Crawford refused to take her son to the hospital out of fear for what she had done - before the boy succumbed to massive internal injuries and passed away.

New York Police say that the accused has prior arrests for assault and drug use, while officers had been called to the family home nine times since 2006 to attend reports of "domestic incidents" between Crawford and the boy's father.

Why must bitches be crazy? I mean, if your kid makes you angry enough to literally want to kill it, you could just, give it up, or I don't know, take some meds? Something.

Damn, sometimes you just have to wonder how many of these people are out there.

The first one is just fucking sadistic.

As for the second one, you wouldn't think that you would put your own convenience above the life of your child.

More than you know. It seems that recently more and more people are coming out of the woodwork for these types of crimes.

In the case of the second story. I think it was manslaughter for "unintentionally" hurting the boy to the point of death. But murder for not taking the kid to hospital when she knew he was in pain. Or the other way round. I am unsure.

This is why, when psycho drugged up people who have been arrested for assault and drug use, get kids, you don't let them keep them, you take the kids to a nice happy family, and you put a bullet through the forehead of the parent, so they don't come back one day all jacked up on whatever they've cooked up wanting their kids back. Enough morons in the world, don't need people like that to raise kids or be responsible for anything, let alone another being's life.

I'm not sure if it's the same in the US but I would imagine the laws on Manslaughter and Murder are similar to us here in the UK in which case...

Simply put for it to be murder it needs to be pre-planned or thought of, Manslaughter here is killing someone strait away with no prior thought, a murder of rage or something like that where emotions are to blame.

Murder = Unlawful killing of someone will 'Malice aforethought'.

You see, we always focus on the negatives. While these things are terrible, we never think about the good things that happen every day.

OT: These are pretty terrible people, and should be locked up.
Like, right now.

Nevertheless, she knew she did something wrong and sadly it ended in the worse possible way. Punish her by example!

As for the first case, I'm interested in knowing why she did it. Is it wrong that I hate that they are questioning her mental condition? I hear that far too much.

My jaw is on the floor. I usually roll my eyes whenever I hear people say you should have to get a parenting license but cases like this make it look like a decent option. At least give them a mental health check for crying out loud, though I don't even know if that would catch many of these people.

The first one is just sick...

The second: I only hope that it destroys her life. Because it should.
