-Anything Ninja Gaiden had terribly frustrating moments.
-Valkyrie Profile also had an impossibly upscale difficulty part near the end if you hadn't leveled you characters right and you could not go back and level up a bit more. What do you do? Start over from the beginning...
-Battletoads just wasn't worth beating. Admit it, now that you can see players on youtube beat the game for you.
-Anytime Dragon Age Origins froze.
-EVERY,EVERY single time Sam Fisher just wouldn't feel like choking a guy to death. The bad guy would just turn around and kill him point- blank.I hated the first game with a passion for exactly that, and never tried the rest of the serie.
-Aeris' death was one moment of frustration, not sadness for me, as my then girlfriend had broke up with me. I was like "well that *****'s going limp on me too..." Hahaha!

Two words: HEY! Listen!
I never realized how annoying the little ***** was until I went back to replay it recently.

Can you imagine how high the meme will skyrocket after the 3D Nintendo DS port is released?

It will be hell on earth.
Oh God, I've forgotten about that. This is the first time I want a game to be cut because of extreme violence.

The Bear in Condemned 2
It comes right the fuck out of nowhere and ruined the rest of the game for me.
and the worst parts was that it took me like 5 time to beat the part.

Also any game the ends with the whole story being a dream I hate that shit so much (I'm looking at you Legend of Zelda DX and Phantom Hourglass)

Edit. unskippable cut-scenes or dialog

The final 'defend this point' segment of Nova Prospekt in HL2. I play the entire game on difficult mode, but I bump it down to easy for that segment because it gets me so angry each and every time.
Is that the part just before alex comes, and you set up turrets? Wait, that's done a couple of times... is it where the turrets are in a tiny bridge between two corrdidors, and they attack from both sides? I fucking hate that part anyway. Makes me eat the rage sauce hard. To a lesser extent, the very last part of Episode 2 can be really fucking hard, but that's immensely satisfying too so it's not too bad.

Ot: Anyone who knows me knows my intense love of F-zero Gx. But seriously, that long flaming corridor in story mode that you have to do in 50 seconds on very hard.

Fuck.
That.
Shit.

Took me about 5 hours straight. For a 50 second challenge.

I forget the specific mission, but it's in Company of Heroes. In the campaign they give you a tank with a rocket platform on top. You have to take the city square in a certain amount of time and then defend it. What pain in the dick that mission was.

That, and anytime I play L4D 1 or 2 and I get pinned by a Hunter right before the safe-house and my team leaves me to die.

Damn thee Rico!, Damn thee to hell!. that final cutscene in KZ3 just ticks me off.

Gameplay wise, when a lucky shot takes out an expensive tank you purchased in Men Of War, luck generally pisses me off in that game, i calculate everything and have back ups for my back ups, but theres no accounting for sheer dumb luck.
you mean KZ2?

This. Although I think its KZ2. And even maybe more so earlier on when he causes thingy to die by being a gun-toting dick.
Yeah, i just have KZ3 on the my mind as of late, what are your thoughts on how KZ3 is shaping up thus far?

the single-player looks good, and its good to see that in the multi-player that the sights are now useful!

Yeah, that's the one. Technically it's not the 'last' turret defense part of Nova Prospekt, but the actual last one is the easiest of the lot and only lasts like 2 minutes as opposed to the five minutes of hell that segment provides.

Also, I managed to finish every race in first on the joker cup on F-zero X. How does GX compare, difficultywise?

Races are relatively easy, even on master. Hell, even on the most difficult cup, as long as you play insanely aggressively on 2 or 3 of the milder tracks and take out your rivals occasionally, it's possible to come last in the last race whilst coming first overall. I get around 15th on the last course[footnote]Which can happen if you hit the barrier more than once, and in some parts the track becomes less than twice as wide as your car, and is bending.[/footnote], but I'm about 80-100 points ahead of my nearest rival, and I'll probably kill him on the last stage anyway. It's incredibly flexible, and constant killing gives you more retries, so it's not even that hard really.

Story mode, however, is a different beast. Short challenges that require absolutely flawless tactics, handling and aggression. To give an example, to beat the first challenge on the hardest difficulty, I literally had to draw out a map of the course, and track a route that would lead to the most efficient way of collecting the items. Beating every one (without a guide or snaking) is my biggest badge of honour in gaming.

Funnily enough, I didn't play X all that much when I had it. To be fair, I was pretty young, and N64 analogues have a tendency to wear down to nothing over time, which is pretty frustrating. The Gamecube analogue is perfect for it though. X didn't feel as fast either, because it didn't have all the purdy backgrounds, or 60fps...

The following just piss me off:
Every escort mission ever. The NPCs you're escorting are just too stupid to live.
Zubats, the reason I always carry big stacks of repel in caves. Every time it's "Can't escape!"
Losing a battle because of accuracy reduction spam, Evasion enhancement spam, or both.

Finally the worst of the lot, the ending to "Red Dead Redemption".
The ending was a pure work genius. The designers just played with your emotions like a cat with a ball of string.
I felt something like that. I just didn't know what happened. I was just like "but... Marston's the good guy... the good guy's supposed to win..."
Did you play the last quest?
I loved killing ross with 15 shots on my Mauser Pistol it felt kinda good, although i was pissed how hard it was to find the quest.
I did, actually. Didn't make me feel much better. But I had a small sense of resolution.

Indeed, F-zero GX is freaking sadistic. Especially Very Hard of the Grand Prix race, and the Deathborn race. Gahh...the first time I did the final mission too...that freaking curve. If you can finish all of that stuff in F-Zero GX, I will be astounded, that is why I include myself as well as Outright Villany(I've talked with him about all this GX stuff before), into the pantheon of gaming legend.....and the game is so much fun too T_T

Ah looks like KZ2 but even better. If they used the same gameplay but with more missions a la MW2, I'd still get it. Hopefully Rico will get his just desserts. Maybe Hakha from KZ1 can come and take him out, as like a payback.

The entire game of Yoshi's Story on N64. I blindly bought it thinking that it would be as good if not better than the SNES Yoshi's Island. I ignored the review scores. It had to be good, I told myself, this was the sequel to Yoshi's Island. I played that game, and played, and played convincing myself it would get better. I played that game to the very end, all the time in denial. 'It's not over, i-it hasn't gotten good yet.' But it was, and what did get? HAPPY END!!!

That was my first memory of being both noticeably furious and disappointed by a videogame. It'll get better, I kept saying. It. Never. Did. *sniff*

Oh, Just about any fight in FFXIII that takes over 30 minutes only to die at the 45 minute mark.
And... Playing Bang Shishigami's Arcade mode on BB:Calamity Trigger vs Hakumen. I raged for 3 days trying to beat him, would've helped if i weren't such a n00b at that game.
