Lost Odyssey has 2 many scenes that made me cry, and the dreams were so emotional!
And the 2 scenes are obvious if you've played it :'(.

Ezio's family's execution in Memory 1 of Assassin's Creed 2.

Not instantly exactly, but I needed to take a moment to get over it afterwards.

I was playing borderlands a bit each day for 3 or so days and suddenly it hit me... This game's not actually going to get better...

I am actually kind of sad right now, that I do not have such a moment.
There were gaming moments, that were magical, dreamy, awesome, beautiful and much much more, but I never cried. Despite that, I do cry in Movies, TV Series or Anime, but gaming would be a first. Shocking, since Gaming is also a matter of heart for me. Weird.

I came close several times though, where I was really really sad. The last of these moments was in Mass Effect 2. There is a video log in the loyalty mission of Tali Zorah, that nearly made me cry. I bet, if you play the game, you know which one. It was just seconds long, but powerful.

ITS A MYSTERY THAT SHALL NEVER BE SOLVED!!!

by the way, what I mean by this is that YOU SHOULD be posting on the linked thread, instead of this one.

I'd have to agree with that, well that moment and when you're just about to finish a game and a bug hits...

On that note, the credits of that game elicited a sad, knowing smile from me. That's the first step to actually crying, so I guess that this was a triumph

It was quite satisfying to kill that murdering bastard toward the end of the level. It was almost as though they were real people he executed.

The entire romance with her was quite emotional. Also, the epic ending of the game, where
you grab the hand of one of your newfound friends (Thane for me) thereby saving him from a deadly drop as the Human Reaper explodes
was quite the awesome experience, if not exactly a tearjerker.

Honestly, didn't you just know he'd die once you found him. I knew it was all over for him as soon as he told me he was proud of my decisions.

Yeah I figured Bethesda was going to do another Oblivion (i.e: waste a famous voice actor). It seems they have a knack for doing so.

Actually, it's because I don't care. Are you the one paying for the bandwidth? It's not like I make the same thread three times in a row. Why must you do that when the thread is on a roll? Are on the website looking at every thread and hunts another similar thread donwn? The section is called gaming discussion, c'mon.

As much as I hate JRPGs, the endings of FFX and KH1 were very tear-jerking moments.

Also, it's not really a cutscene, but that damn GLaDOS made me kill my one true love, Companion Cube! One day, (or at least when Portal 2 comes out), I will finally exact my revenge on GLaDOS for destroying the most beautiful friendship I've ever had.
