Getting revenge kills in TF2. I'm a very vindictive person.

EDIT: Especially with backstabs. Sometimes I switch to Spy, kill them, then go back to whatever I was doing.

The entirety of the Jedi Council scene on Dantooine from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II. The voice acting in that game is incredible.

Also, meeting Andrew Ryan in Bioshock, the pacifist's ending to Fallout, breaking 1,000,000 in Geometry Wars, and quite a few I can't recall off the top of my head.

Oh, and the scene on Supervillain Rictus' starship in Anachronox when the Invisible Man hits the Emergency Parole button. FanTAStic.

after the raft scene, when you choose Sabin's story in Final Fantasy VI

let me just say what happens

riding overpowered mech suits
getting on a ghost train
FIGHTING the TRAIN
SUPLEXING the TRAIN
jumping down a giant waterfall and fighting piranhas that jump out of the water at you while still falling
waking up in Africa and meeting the coolest excuse for a blue mage ever, Gau
taking a current across the ocean, with only 1 golden scuba helmet for 3 people, fighting fish along the way

it was the greatest joyride in gaming I have ever experienced.

As a kid, playing Star Fox 64, and finally shooting all of the switches on the Landmaster stage with the train from hell... I was the first kid in the neighborhood to do that, and I felt like God for a week.

Or finally getting all of the stars in Super Mario 64... I hate the clocktower. Haaaaate...

Completing Conker Live @ Reloaded on the Original Xbox.

Anyone whos played it will know just how infuriatingly difficult that game is.

But once you finally complete it, you feel like a gaming god!

The only one I can think of now is probably finishing all of CoD4 on veteran.
Everyone die again for the 5th time still made me cry.

I will have to go currently with the final boss in Prototype on normal, and Elizabeth Green on hard mode (Haven't made it to the final boss on hard)
Those are the ones I can remember right now...
Oh yea, also the final mission on Red Faction Guerilla on normal difficulty. That took me way too long to beat.

Finally learning your name in Planescape:Torment. Even though you don't get to actually hear it.

Playing Oblivion for the first time when I got my Xbox, it was my first 'Next-gen' game and the graphics and movement of vegitation, the graphics from person and combat just hit me.

The ending of COD4 (Not the epilogue, the end of the campaign), was great. Completed the campaign in a day, thought the subsequent events were a brilliant finale.

The end in Max Payne.

It's not like the game is particularly hard, but I played it through in two sessions, something like 16 hours total, with a few hours of sleep in between. Did wonders for immersion. About the first and only time in a game, I actually wanted a character dead for the sake of them being dead. Mechanics, tactics, plot, all that diminished in importance in the face of the goal. When the final sequence triggered, I found myself hoping the boss was still alive and conscious during the fall. Ye gods, it felt good.

The end of Rock Band 2 career mode where you control the fireworks with your frets as you do a big rock ending.

Playing Super Mario Galaxy for the first time brought tears to my eyes. And kind of even more when my mom recognized some of the music, and started whistling it, because she's always kind of hated that I play video games.

Nova Prospekt. For all the buildup, the entrance I expected to be different.
But the Dank, disconcerting and squalid Gulag turned concrete mentality horror did fail to disappoint so drastically, I fell over.

The insane strider battle at the end of Half Life 2 Episode 2. It was a whole lot of fun, now that I look back on it.

Beating Metroid Prime 1,2, and 3 on Hard
Or in my case, beating Metroid Prime 1. At all. I think I actually jumped around the room when Prime's first form finally died.

Then I got horribly raped by the second part I never saw coming.

Beating every Armored Core game ever released in North America. When you're a giant robot nut and you don't want any mainstream crap, then it feels great owning and beating all of them.
