The constant taking of a brick to the face in Condemned 2.
Even when I expected it it would still get a little hop out of me.

All of condemned... Even when you're not being assaulted by the frequent BOO moments you're constantly on edge waiting for something freaky to happen (whether it's a guy jumping out of a cupboard or a hallucination) the atmosphere in that game war headcrushingly spooky

Oh by the way: why wasn't bloodshot released for PC?... this annoyed me

Mine was in HL2, after you get the rocket launcher and drive off for a bit, you come to an abandoned house, so I decided to look around it and while on the top floor, I heard a single combine voice outside and I literally screamed. The noises they make are just too god damn scary, especially in an abandoned house!

Meh, it was more of an "oh crap" moment than a horror moment.

Resident Evil 2 when you get into the police station for the first time walk round the corner and "something" scuttles across the window. I went every possible way to avoid going through that door :p

The abandoned Armacham building in F.E.A.R. It's dark, quiet, but you keep having the feeling you're not the only one in there. The moments where you briefly see Alma crossing a hallway or giggling from the shadows just heighten the spook-factor.

I was seriously relieved every time I ran into Replica soldiers. At least they didn't scare me.

A demo of Condemned at Gamestop was my first experience with Gen 7. I really got a knot in my stomach, whacking a guy with a pipe felt very realistic. I wanted to apologize.

Bioshock.

Dr. Steinman.

The whole moulding people into whatever form suits him was disturbing.

The "He's ugly" part was cool though.

After playing that game, you'll never look at mannequins the same way.

Vampire the Masq blood lines...

The haunted hotel level.

Here you are, bad ass vampire. You walk into a hotel haunted, nut case killed his family... the poltergiest basicly just messes you up left and right and your a freaking VAMPIRE.
News clippings of a childs head found in a dryer...walking by the laundry room and hearing a thump thump thump...

That got creepy right. And it made you, as a super natural bad ass vampire... feel damn near helpless.

The Hotel level from Vampire the Masquerade (sp?) Bloodlines.

And of course pretty much all of Fort Frolic from Bioshock.

Chris, I'm so proud of you :')

OT: one of the Fallout 3 radio messages; a guy asking for help for his son. It was creepy anyways, but it went more so when I found the raider diner near by filled with little bones...
