Anyways I've never had a social life outside of school. Only person's house I went over to played a bunch of video games with me . I will say I didn't run to a friend's house because I was raiding in WoW. That makes me facepalm looking back at it.

What has been killing my social life recently? Well I've been picking up a bunch of anime recently, but that actually improves my social life in my University's anime club.

Other than that, World of Tanks has been a nice little time sink for me recently.

What are you talking about? This is my social life! I live in the middle of nowhere and the people I used to hang out with are all into going into pubs and slowly but surely becoming alcoholics. I'm not into getting completely s**tfaced every weekend and I think that there is more to life than wasting all my money on booze So I send my time here.

Oh actually, I was dating this guy and his plans had been cancelled, so he thought he'd come visit me, alas I had plans with Fallout New Vegas. So I told him that I had plans hahaaha.

Starting a university course, unless you count moaning about said course with fellow students at the end of the day. It's actually pretty horrific and I'm going to have no spare time whatsoever in my final year, can't wait for it to be over.

Buying Blood Bowl, having fifteen friends ask me to come play Dota II with them, say lolno Blood Bowl is more fun, spend six hours playing Blood Bowl in a single day, have all my friends ignore me. Don't care, go back to Blood Bowl and slice some Elves in half with a chainsaw.

What usually screws over my social life are exams. But than again since almost all of my friends are students it's not like I would have a social life even if i didn't have exams during the exam periods.

I never really had much of an active social life, I have some friends I hang out with on occasion but I generally prefer to be alone. I've been like that ever since I was a kid. Social interaction generally drains me to the point where I need to spend the next day sitting in an empty room reading/gaming/watching movies in order to recharge(if I am able).

Agreed, the only person I can be around for any length of time is my hubby....

Last year when my ID stopped working.

See, I'm at university, most social interactions revolve around alcohol, bars and clubs, all three things which I cannot do without my ID.

Cue about three months in which I didn't go out, and barely socialised. Matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the only social life I had was with my housemates, occasionally with the few coursemates who aren't assholes or friends with assholes, and the nerf society.

It took me so long to get a new one because the process confused and scared me, and I had to check everything.

I take almost every opportunity I can get to go out drinking or messing about with my friends. I haven't had anything happen that could put a noticeable dent in my social life yet. However, I finish my college course in a couple of months and next year we'll be scattered to the corners of the earth. Masters degrees, jobs, travel... as much as I want to put college work behind me, I'm not looking forward to seperating from the people that have become such a significant part of my life over the last four years.

my only slight example of this is when i was dumped after a fairly long term relationship, so i caved and got the WoW trial that my friends had been bugging me to get. i then got pretty addicted to wow for about 2 years. didn't really isolate myself properly, as my main friends still played too, but otherwise i was pretty much a recluse
