When Persona 4 Golden was released!

Goodbye social life, hello social links!
Yup. I started my first ever playthrough of a Persona game 4 days ago (P3:FES). I just spent 2 hours writing down stats and persona combinations to make sure that I was getting the best fusion that I can get...

Help.

Moving to Vermont pretty much killed what small social life I had. Although I do talk to people online quite a bit, so maybe it's not completely dead.

Going from averagely popular in middle and junior high to "Who the fuck is that emo kid?" in high school has made me wall off from society. Has nothing to do with my gaming, nothing to do with my hobbies, nothing to do with me, just one year of school later and most of my friends found other friends who made their IQ and long term memory abilities drop from existence. Used to have about 30 good friends, dropped down to like...6 pretty damn fast. And we hardly talk all that much to begin with except that I'm currently dating one of my friends for almost a year now. We talk a little more then usual.

How do I put in this in the most pathetic way possible hmmm...

My friendship garden withered away years ago, strangely around the time I entered Elementary School.

this happen to me all the time, all the fucking time.
You two need to get new friends. That's a terrible fucking thing to say.

"Yeah we were going to invite you to have a good time with us but you're such a shut-in that we didn't bother lol"

When I was in uni I would spend all day in lectures or in the library, then in the evening I spend my time in work, which pretty much killed my social life. In fact working in the evening in general just killed my social life, thankfully I don't have to work them hours anymore.

Civ expansion releases tend to turn me into a hermit, which is unfortunate as they always seem to release them in the summer -_-
Damn it Fraxis! Release them in the winter when it's cold and I actually don't want to go outside.

My social life dies at the end of every quarter at college. I get along really well with people in class, then class ends and I never see any of them again.

I?ve spent the vast majority over my Easter break researching alchemy and creating my own Fullmetal Alchemist guides, with my main communication to my friends being through Facebook. That?s a couple days after I?d been to a house party at my friend?s house and got so wasted I spat up half-eaten pizza on his bed. It doesn?t help that I live in such a dull city either, so most times I recreationally visit town, it feels somewhat like a waste of time even then.

Yes, I do lack a social life outside of school. I even spent my entire summer vacation at home.
I live in a rural area, the other teens are significantly more interested in sex, alcohol and smoking. I might be the only virgin in the area around my age.

Other than that, World of Tanks has been a nice little time sink for me recently.
Less of a time sink and more of a way of life. Raging at pubbies forever.

Plus side I get to go to southhampton this weekend and get wasted at a place that sells lord of the rings drinks, so i'm sorted.

Way back when I was in High School I regularly got ditched by my group of friends because they went to the regularly held "Mormon Dances" here in town in desperate hopes of meeting girls (I wasn't Mormon so I had no interest in meeting Mormon girls) while I had nothing to do but replay videogames, rewatch movies etc.

Because of this I made myself "The Rule", basically I'm not allowed to pass up socialization/friends for Videogames unless it's for budget reasons (can't afford to go to the bar etc.), and I've stuck with it for the last... 12 years or so...

No dead Social Life for me.

I have no interest in getting drunk, high, or laid. Doesn't leave much else to do on a social scale besides go eat and maybe watch a movie. It's probably why I liked going to cons so much - it's a social event that doesn't primarily revolve around those three things.

When I desided to take two English classes this semester, and get all A's. Goodbye what friends I had, hello 200+ pages of reading a week. The worst is over now, I just have two pretty big projects left.

Over than that. Trying to get Seriously 3.0 in Gears. You have to play a lot to get, but it's keeping me from spending money on new games which is great.

And, I'm not good at talking to new people, or being around large groups of people, so I'm no Casanova to begin with.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, Let's not forget I live 15 miles (or a 20 minute drive) from my University, anyone who would want to hang out with me, and where everyone meets new people. There's not all that much to do on campus anyways--at least if you don't have a dorm--so I can't just hang out down there all day waiting for someone to text me or to dump into someone new.

The mother of all snowstorms hitting on my 18th birthday, stopping all the trains and making the roads icy as all hell, so we had extreme difficulty getting anyone together.

Also, an incident I won't go into at a camp out.

Things I've done myself? Don't know, I usually grab every opportunity to socialize.
