When I tried to use the force to grab my phone and got exited because it started vibrating.

My nerdiest moment in life is usually when people brag about the cost of their cars and my automatic response is to tell them about my $60,000 video game collection. I always quickly realize how much I shouldn't brag about that, usually because I get a lot of stares that make me wonder if I am, in fact, an alien.

Ah.

Yes.

Often when I'm sweeping lawn trimmings, my broom suddenly becomes my THUNDER HAMMER.

I want a thunder hammer.

Though I'd be lucky if I could even drag the thing.

Many many many things really, too many things to name.

The most recent example came this morning. A woman was talking to a co-worker of mine, saying she saved up bottlecaps. My co-worker asked what someone wants to do with bottlecaps.

Of course you can guess what my first thought was; better start hoarding them for the inevitable nuclear apocalypse!

Anytime I am with Meghan aka Kerowynn

Anytime I refer to my house during the summer(Mount Doom or the fires of Mount Doom won't let me sleep)

Anytime I refer to Meghan's house(the batcave)

Discussing Batman movies with Ashley

Everytime I look at my logo for work and think or say our logo is the rebellion symbol

Earlier this afternoon when I saw this image, and sadly got the joke and proceeded to laugh my ever loving ass off. For those wondering, this is the moment when you realize you've been watching waaay to much Star Trek

Ok I like me some trek, but I have no idea what that joke is.

I only flick into Nerd-Mode when in context, like when I find myself having an undeniable urge to buy some geeky memorabilia.

But you know, I don't. Since I'm aggressively poor...

Some friends of mine studied physics and astonomy on university. Now I don't have mutch papers to show for. But once we were talking about astronomy and one of my friends said: "F*ck, you are telling me things I am supposed to know!"

I was watching a cartoon with my little brother one time, and the protagonist was sitting at the bottom of the ocean for some reason. One fish approached him, and said:

"Hey, I don't like you."

The protagonist ignored this, then another fish came from the opposite side. The first fish then said:

"My friend doesn't like you either."

The smile that consumed my face was extremely large.

Whenever I quote a meme.
They always sound better in my head (or on the internet) than they do in real life.

Whenever I see someone 'dissing' Ashley from Mass Effect and then suddenly get angry and defensive I then think back and realise that I just leapt to defend the honor of a character that doesn't actually exist. I am then astounded as to how pissed off I can be made by something that I know isn't at all important.
Yet for some reason, it never fails to make me mad.

A bunch of Monty Python stuff. Especially from the Holy Grail.
Then there's pretty much anything related to Touhou. In America, that's pretty obscure.
Really, I could go on and on.

I just can't stand this combination!

"I'm an enchanter, they call me... Tim."
And: "FOR THE EMPEROR!"

Now that that's out of the way.
I remind myself when I use Magic: The Gathering as a reference in real life.
"I'm late for class, quick! Give me 'haste'!"
"I guess some girls know how to give you 'vigilance!'"
"No, you can't target my answers for these questions!"
And if he could, why didn't you just cast counter spell? Or aren't you blue?

Very Blue! But I don't like counter spells, there is no fun in them. I'm a 'Johnny'. I like to create wacky combo's to suprise people.

So using a counter in real life is like blocking all communication with everyone. That's... not very social.

The occasions where I start thinking about the Zelda timeline (I'm a firm believer in the split-timeline theory, btw).

To lesser extents, some of my mentions of anime and my Linux usage (despite it being Ubuntu) around friends.
