My brother and I used to each have a Guinea pig, which we kept in the same cage. He name his Link, and I named mine Nightboy (I was four, or something, okay?). Anyway, Several years passed and Link got sick and died. Then poor old Nightboy stopped eating once Link left, and then he died.

I also had a hamster once named Hammy (Once again, very young) I opened up the cage to give him some food when suddenly my sister's evil cat jumps in and fucking eats him in front of my eight year old eyes.

a hamster my brother had died of some bizarre medical reason with no apparent cause. it's stomach swelled up for some unknown reason, and suffocated it.

the vet had said the previous day that there was nothing wrong with it...

My friend told me his dog was run over in front of him, and just as the first car was driving away, another car ran over the dogs body.

The worst thing is I laughed when he told me that. It's the way he tells 'em. (he wasn't impressed)

I saw my dog get run over by a car, it was actually some ***** who hated dogs and also happened to drive an SUV, i saw it right in front of my eyes. He shit and pissed all over himself, his back broken, he lifted up his head and looked at me, then died.
I really hope you let out your inner Chuck Norris at that woman, cause I would have.

'WTF COME BACK HERE YOU STUPID *****!'

...sorry.

That's a sad way to lose your friend, I'm very sorry.

My Beta Fish died right before my eyes, he was struggling to try and breath but he couldn't. I'm guessing he died of old age, but he was just struggling, it was really sad :C

My hamster was murdered by the vet. It bit them so they put it in a cupboard as some kind of retribution and forgot about it. It eventually died of dehydration and the vet was fired.

(The hamster's name was Mike Tyson and it was a vicious little shit.)

Oh Wow. That sucks man. I had a friend who had a puppy, and it died because it was sleeping near a shelf with paint cans, and well... one of them fell...

And I was 8 when I saw that... luckily I can't remember the image anymore.

*shivers* This might make you cry, so don't go on reading it unless you've got a heart of steel or are just plainly a bastard.

One day, I woke up in the morning to the gentle meowing of a pack of newborn kittens, which were in the garage, right below my window. I jumped out of bed, ran to the garage, and saw 5 adorable pairs of eyes looking at me, and my hear was filled with joy. I ran to tell my parents, and they were delighted too, as we had been wanting to buy a kitten for some time, but never could. So off I went, showered, changed, packed my stuff ready for school, and my dad said "Wait for me on the door", so off I went to the front gate. I stood there for a bit, till I heard the most distressing, unsettling sound my young ears had yet to hear: One of the kittens screaming. I ran to the garage, and saw the car was already out, and in the garage floor, the body of the kitten, with it's head crushed under the wheels, and his body retorting in agony. I sank to my knees, tears started to overflow, and I held the corpse in my hands. When my father came to see what was happening, I lunged at him, threw him to the ground, and punched him once. After that, I simply stood there. I got up, picked up the dead baby, and went away with it to the garden. I dug a small hole with my hands, the earth turning to mud from my tears, and buried the innocent animal. I took care of the other kittens for some years, until, being wild as they were, they one day decided to leave home. To this day, I will never forget the eyes of the kitten which I never got to take care of.

That sucks about your cat. Sorry.

The worst that I can think of is when my pet hamster had a heart attack and died curled up in her little igloo. *Sobs*
