Have you ever been in a real cave, IRL, in person ... without a helmet?

It's really not a good place for running.

Have you worn real armour, padding and all, and carried a real broadsword, really, in real life, yourself?

Your Morrowind character is supposed to be an orphan the Emperor's toughs scooped off the street, locked up for a while, stuffed into the hold of a boat and sent off to get tangled up in the shifty goings-on in a distant province. You've hardly just graduated from the Spartan Military Academy here.

You're getting very defensive (about a game no less) and downright insulting. I don't like Morrowind, settle down and let it go.
Alright, I accept your surrender. See I am a merciful conqueror
Yeah man, you totally won. I'm going to go play Morrowind right now and love every minute of it. What the hell was I thinking? I don't know what I personally like and don't like. I should have others make that decision for me.
Hey no need for sarcasm man. I respect you and honestly I feel for you. It takes courage to admit you have bad taste in video games. It must be terrible not being able to appreciate Morrowind.

I really liked Morrowind when I played it a few years ago, it was a really grand and fun world to explore. I wonder how many others also found the talking Mudcrab merchant :p (I actually stumbled across him on accident, true story).

I remember the boss of the BloodMoon expansion being quite a challenge as well, maybe I was underlevled there, can't remember.

Also, Boots of Blinding Speed + scroll of-whatever-the-heck-that-jump-spell-was-called = fun.
You could literally pass from one side of the island to the other in one jump.

Icarian Flight, named after Icarus. He flew, enjoyed it and soared higher. The Sun melted the wax in his wings and he fell to his death. Appropriate, yes?

I realy liked Morrowind as it was alot more open ended than oblivion. And i enjoyed the blood moon expansion as there was the whole ability to become a wearwolf. And ontop of that if you became a vampire i seem to remeber that there was a way to join vampire guilds.

Its time to revive this thread. As a thread I had earlier would suggest, I just started playing this again today. Had Oblivion on my computer and stated playin that, till I realized how fucking BLAND it was. I wanted to ride a giant insect damnit!

Yes, I've long espoused that Morrowind was far better than its sequel. For one thing, the leveling system doesn't break if you actually try to build a character that uses the skills you choose as your Major and Minor. For another, the plot's more compelling and the environments are more varied. I liked this game a lot when it first debuted, and the travesty that was Oblivion makes me appreciate Morrowind even more.
