My mom saw me playing GTA SA online and one player has a stripper character, my mom said, "its okay if you like to see girls like that. you're getting older, but you should know how to act nice and not be bad." She went on to talk about how its normal to like women wearing provocative clothes while I'm shooting heads and driving, it sucked.

When at dinner they called me out on having sex while they were in the house to which i responded that shortly after I had heard them doing the same. It was REALLY quiet for a few minutes.

The funniest conversation involving a parent was at a running store in town. My father runs 100 mile races now for fun and has a lot of connections around town with runners. One being the owner of the store that was in there when I went to buy shoes. I was back from college visiting and the store owner started talking about how my father was praising my aerospace accomplishments whenever he talked about his family. Fine I though he just confused me with my brother so I corrected him, at which point he then said to my father "I didn't know you had another son?" Listening to my dad try and talk his way out of it was fairly bad.

This really happened on my 16th birthday:
My sister and my mom was in my room, when I was eating breakfast in bed. My sis was at my computer for once and opened my torrent client, seeing the porn I was downloading at the time.
She said something like "What's this?" with a vicious smile, and I was like "IT'S NOTHING" and my mother said "What? is it porn?"

After a moment of silence I said yes, and then she said "Thank god, Me and your father thought you might have been gay."

My sister almost laughed herself to death.

They were talking about some porn they had found on the computer, but i didnt actualy put any one there... it was like, "Okay Mum, yeah... its a faze or something. What were the pictures again?" Eventualy they just let it drop.

I still to this day dont know how porn got there.
Ha, same here.

When my parents came up to me and asked me if I smoke weed. Bad timing too. Right when I was lighting a joint my dad walks in. I mean right when when I sparked the lighter. To this day it's still awkward to watch any stoner movie with them.

I played in a rec league for soccer a while back. My dad cornered me after the game and promptly said, "You need a sports bra. You were bouncing all over in there." I then proceeded to have a spectacularly awkward conversation, all about my need for a sports bra, with dear old dad.

Sadly, "The Talk" was nothing compared to that. I knew everything by the time they got around to it.

Most awkward one for me was the time I carelessly blurted out my new hobby of writing erotic novels. After it was out, I realized not all new hobbies are something to excitedly share with your family.

I remember one time, my Mom was out on the porch smoking, which she only does when she's upset or stressed. Being a responsible son (I was 17 at the time), I walked out and asked her what was wrong, and she responded that her relationship with my stepdad was feeling strained lately.

I should not have asked her to elaborate.

They asked me if I thought I was gay.

I'm not, but I've been asked before by friends, and it doesn't bother me much. After the talk it was pretty much just funny to me.

But still, a really awkward chat while it was happening... o_o
They ask me that all the time, though I think their just joking.

Anyways I think it would be the time I got caught smoking, they were drunk so it was even weirder(that word does not follow any rules) they were ok, and said they don't care but still weird.

My mom asked me for advice when she was juggling two boyfriends. One was technically her ex (she kind-of dumped him). I was all of 18 and haven't been in a relationship yet. My answer was a simple "Why the fuck are you asking me?"

The most awkward would be my grandmother, and it was less a conversation than a lecture. She gave me an hour long lecture about how I shouldn't marry a blond (because "you don't want used products, and all blonds have been used before"). She also ruled out redheads, blacks, Indians (as in the girls from India, though I think she would have included the natives if she had known of their existence), Arabic (and Muslims in general) and Latinos. Which basically left me with Brunets and East Asians. She then followed that by saying that brunets with white skin are most likely sluts, and that all Southeast Asians (Vietnam, Thailand, etc) are whores. All of this basically narrows down her approval range to Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese girls.

Awkward because my grandmother is talking to me about my potential wife (and classifying about 85% of all females as sluts, whores, or just dirty women). Hilarious because there was so much racial prejudice it was AWESOME!

Every once in a while my mom asks me if I'm gay and proactively reassures me before I can respond. No, Mom, I'm not gay, I just tend to have more guy friends; all awkward "I'm a virgin" conversations with girls are strategically avoided by not having any girl friends that'd want to have them, and same for guys.

I think I had a talk that was slightly worse than that.
Instead of just asking if I was gay, my mum went about telling me that it was ok if I was gay and that she wouldn't mind. It was as if she assumed that I was...which I'm not...wow that was awkward

For a while after I came out my mom wondered if any male friend I mentioned, in just about any context, was someone I was sleeping with.

I'm not really sure why this was, as when I reminded her that all my particularly good friends are male, and just about all the rest are too, she seemed to remember that this has always been the case we with me, dating back as far as either of us could recall. I had to break it down to the "because you understand the way they think more, and that's a comfortable thing" before she began to stop asking.

That and the whole "you know I'd sooner die than tell you anything of that sort" too, but I think a lot of us are like that.

When my parents found out I went for walk at midnight with the neighbor girl. We didn't do anything remotely sexual (we just talked about random crap cause we were up at the same time), but it was still a massively awkward conversation.
