We've all been there, we're just talking about something casual with dear 'ol Momma and/or Daddy, then they slowly make the conversation go to a subject you'd rather just keep in the back of your mind. What was your awkward subject of awkwardly awkwardness?

For me it would have to be when my mom asked me if I had grown into my circumcision (No, I'm not Jewish) just a day after I learned I had one. Can you top that?

They asked me if I thought I was gay.

I'm not, but I've been asked before by friends, and it doesn't bother me much. After the talk it was pretty much just funny to me.

But still, a really awkward chat while it was happening... o_o

They were talking about some porn they had found on the computer, but i didnt actualy put any one there... it was like, "Okay Mum, yeah... its a faze or something. What were the pictures again?" Eventualy they just let it drop.

I still to this day dont know how porn got there.

Okay, first, just so you know... I often miscommunicate with my parents... I like to tinker with things.. you know, take thigns apart, customize... etc. so, this conversation erupted when my Mom saw all my screwdrivers and stuff:
Mom: a lot...
Me: Yup...
*Mother picks one up*
Mom: This one is small
Me: A lot of my things are small

*Facepalm*

I've never had an awkward conversation with my parents. Though there were moments that they would be considered awkward moments if brought into talking, like my mom walking in on me as I was masturbating. That would have been an awkward talk, but both of us had a silent agreement to not bring it up.

Probably when my mom walked in on me watching porn, and saying it was "ok to watch" or something along those lines.

Very awkward...

whenever they ask me if I've drank, especially when I come home from school. Of course i'm drinking. My dad knows it, but my mom... Eh, I'll just stay quiet so that can of worms can stay closed.

Haventhad the sex talk yet or ever will. I think they assume I'm not having it. Harsh, but true.

Well I don't love my family...So the most awkward "talk" would be when they asked me why I don't love them.

You know I was never given "The Talk" as screwed up as it sounds pornography taught me about sex not my parents. So there isn't really anything.

A conversation about scented douchebags at the dinner table.

That was just.... weird.

The most awkward for me is when my mother stepped into my room when I had a very good looking girl with me and we happened to not have our cloths on at the time... Yeah she wanted to have a "talk" after that. Take the sex talk and multiply it by a thousand...

before going off to college we had the "safety talk" involved all the awkward topics. Sex, drugs, partying ugh thinking about it is making me cringe

When I was a youngin, my parents asked me about some porn websites on the internet history. Instead of at least having the decency to assume I found it, they asked if my friend showed me.

It died away eventually but from then on we never talked about anything.

Telling my mum i thought my GF (who i'd been telling my mum for weeks i wanted to break up with) was pregnant.

Was suprisingly easy, but it was a conversation i really[/I] didnt want to have.

Well I've had many. One was when my mom found my Myspace and saw I had said I was Bi. That wasn't fun and I didn't want them knowing yet. The next was when my step dad was telling me about how a girls first time hurts as all hell and the girl bleeds. Blue balls some how got worked into it too. It was kinda a small version of the sex talk. Then about a month after my boy friend and I had sex for the first time he asked me if him and I did it and that he wouldn't get mad if we did. Well I didn't want him to know so I lied to avoid another awkward conversation. Oh yea.... and I forgot. I think I have you all topped with this hands down and I dare anyone to bet it. My step dad said to my ex boyfriend in a restaurant with people around us. "If you make her cry I'll cut off your balls and make you wear them for earrings." I just about died and he well had no color in his face.

Got a brother? Possibly your dad?

Also, I'm gonna be lame and say "The Talk". Quite possibly the most awkward moment in all of parenting.

Also also, I think this should be in Off-Topic.

My parents always seemed to think when I was with a girl, it meant I was dating them. Because being friends is impossible.

Needless to say, being seen with multiple girls at a time did not make for a good conversation with my mother.
