Black Lagoon and Hellsing are both great animes, at least for guys I guess.... Honestly, sometimes I hear about a good anime but it turns out to be a chick flick in disguise.

On topic: been briefly mentioned already, but Deneve from Claymore. The whole 'welp, I ripped my own arm off, might as well throw it and the attached sword to impale the sucker responsible through the skull with it' sealed it. Especially since the biggest reaction she showed to the whole event was frowning in irritation slightly. I like the restrained type; I considered going with Signum for that reason, but Deneve wins it for me.

Don't know why anyone hasn't said this yet but, It was the first thing i thought of. Kallen Kouzuki from Code Geass. She has black belt hand to hand training and she can use anything electronical you throw at her.

Balalaika is seriously the most terrifying woman I've ever seen in anime. Her and 2-Hands from Black Lagoon, although 2-Hands is a different kind of scary. 2-Hands is more of a "I don't want to piss her off cuz she might kneecap me." scary.

Balalaika...she's more along the lines of, "I don't want to piss her off because she'll kill everyone that ever talked to me and make it like I never existed while killing me in a horrible way." kinda scary. XD
