On the Legend of Zelda: oracle of Seasons for the Game Boy Colour was a boss that could best be described as a giant eye that jumps around the screen.

Well to beat this boss you needed to use your Magnet Gloves to push a giant spiked ball at mr Big Eye. This all sound fine and dandy except for the fact that the ball hurts you. Quite often I would be trying to push the ball at Mr Big Eye, miss then press A again to drag it pack to me but have my thumb on A for one millonth of a second to long and have the giant ball ram into me taking off some hearts. Very annoying.
Oh my, that boss fight annoyed me to hell!

For me, probably some of the bosses from Oracle of Ages or Seasons. Those were some bastard-hard fights.

Ahh the good old days of gaming - they're so much easier these days..........

This made me really laugh xD

Probably the one from Dark Cloud. Some ice queen type, she was immune to every attack i tried... it didn't make sense.
So i sold the game.

The Lightning face worm in Ninja Gaiden 2. Not only does your ninpo not work against it but you cant even get close enough to attack cause if you do you get blasted away by his auto lightning. The only way to hurt him is to use you shurikens or bow and even then there are enimes around to intterupt you.Almost broke a controller trying to beat him.

Theres been a few for me, Jester in Devil May Cry 3 on normal mode is handing me my arse as I've yet to complete that one to my shame.

Graven the end boss in Conan the 2007 game, the quick time event and jump, duck, dodge three tentacles at once, moves are just annoying as hell, specialy as your amazing weapons and armour upgrades are about as useful as pissing intothe wind.

Also the Aries fight in God of War made me spit hot molten rage.

The hardest boss/bosses I've ever to beat was Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts I&II
Me and my brother never beat him and stopped trying.

It's mostly Azure Kite from .hack//G.U. volume 1: Rebirth. .hack has a tendency to make the final bosses in the first volumes of their games the hardest. It took a while, but I did it first try. It took skill, speed, and alot of healing potions.

Ovan would be up there except for the fact that when I did the same preparations I did for Azure Kite, leveling up to the level cap in the given volume. First try I wasn't leveled up and got killed. I leveled up and he was honestly really friggin easy. And the Avatar battle for him was also WAY easier than Azure Kite's avatar "AzureFlameGod". I shiver thinking about it's might.

The final part of the Xemnas boss battle in Kingdom Hearts 2 I tried a few times but I beat it.

And the final level in LocoRoco where you're inside the cucumber guy. It took me ten minutes on my first try! XD Not hard at all.

Ya, Mizar was tough.
But I'm going to go with RAAM on the hardest difficulty. It would have been easy if Dom wouldn't have completely gone insane and charged the giant machine gun guy with only a chainsaw. I had to use the box glitch to take him down.

Wiseman from Baten Kaitos Origins. Holy shit was that boss hard.

Technically speaking, it's not a 'required' boss you have to face to beat the game, but if you want to get the right ability to face the final boss, the Wiseman fight is the way to go.

Not only do you have to fight a massive Black Dragon before fighting him, with lots of health and devastating attacks, but once you're fighting Wiseman, his every attack saps a significant part of your health and a resource analogous to 'mana,' which determines how many attacks you can use per turn.

And he's got plenty of health, too. And if you can't beat Wiseman in your current state- if you need to level up or somesuch- be prepared to load a previous save and do the fight with the Black Dragon THEN Wiseman all over again.

I barely beat Wiseman in my last save. Just barely.

I'm never fighting him- or her, or it, it's not really clear- again.

1. All of Venom 1 on Expert in Star Fox 64. I know a level isn't a boss, but holy Goddammit Jesus Christ almighty.

2. Pringer X from Phantom Brave. Shitloads of power ups coupled with invincibility from the start, and completely capable killing you in one hit with one of his weaker attacks.

3. Mendes from beatmania IIDX DJ Troopers. This chart is a sick joke. If Dracula, Old Testament God, and Hitler got together to think of an impossible challenge in a video game, they would still be incapable of thinking of something this sadistic and retarded.

4. Pokemon Stadium. Pokecup Master Ball Round Two. Nothing more needs to be said. Fuck you, Nintendo. Just... fuck you.

5. Elizabeth from Persona 3. If you have a Persona equipped that nullies the attack to be, she will do 9999 damage and kill you instantly. If you come close to bringing her down to below 10000, she will fully restore her HP and then kill you instantly. The fact that it can take 10 to 15 minutes to get to her only adds to the frustration.
