Oh man RAAM on insane. I tried to solo him but failed like 20 times. He then glitched and got stuck on a wall and only then could I kill him.bigfatcarp93 said:Dude, General motherfucking RAAM. Christ.
what arc did she show back up in? cause i don't remember ever running into her more then the first timeSixcess said:The Sea Witch, in City of Heroes.
Fuck that Sinspawn Gui. It was basically a brick wall if you didn't take the time to grind beforehand.jdogtwodolla said:While i've been farther into the game, The hardest bosses I've ever faced had to be the Crawler, Evrae, and Sinspawn Gui from Final Fantasy X, all for the same reason. I faced these when I was young and I had no concept of the Sphere Grid which is your main means of leveling up and I had a tendency to skip a lot of battles because at age 10, they grew boring quickly.
The Final Boss from Metal Gear Solid 4 too. Fuck that fight.
Also, I'm playing psyconauts right now and the boss fights are hard for me mainly because the camera angles are so awkward that they make the arenas feel smaller than they already are.
Have you tried fighting Father Rodin?skywolfblue said:For single player, probably Jubileus from Bayonetta. It's so loooong without a save checkpoint, it's very hard not to slip up and be a half second too late to avoid the black holes of insta-death.
She showed up in a stand alone mission from Mr Bocor in Port Oakes, then again at the finale of a story arc from Lorenz Ansaldo in Sharkhead that deals with the Scrapyarders.Lunar Templar said:what arc did she show back up in? cause i don't remember ever running into her more then the first timeSixcess said:The Sea Witch, in City of Heroes.
Same. I have to keep reminding myself that I have to write about it in the past tense now.i miss that game
Names not familiar, guess it wasn't one i ran into often enough to registerSixcess said:She showed up in a stand alone mission from Mr Bocor in Port Oakes, then again at the finale of a story arc from Lorenz Ansaldo in Sharkhead that deals with the Scrapyarders.Lunar Templar said:what arc did she show back up in? cause i don't remember ever running into her more then the first timeSixcess said:The Sea Witch, in City of Heroes.
Yeah, I poke around for some news relating to one of the spinoffs or something, nothing :'( DCUO just isn't scratching that itch like CoH did, and it's the best of the twoSame. I have to keep reminding myself that I have to write about it in the past tense now.

Ah yes.. The old summon Yojimbo, pay him a shitload of gil and pray for Zanmato trick. I used it a couple of times myself.Zantos said:I think I just did a rinse repeat on Yojimbo's insta-kill for every single Dark Aeon battle. Some people would call that unsatisfying, but I liked it.ShinyCharizard said:First up is Dark Bahamut from Final Fantasy X. That fight was ridiculous. You spend most of the battle trying desperately to keep your party members alive and free of status effects and there is very rarely any good opportunity to attack. Still I managed to beat him after a hell of a long fight. Definitely the hardest Dark Aeon I found.
The hardest boss I can think of is the dragon from the end of Giana Sisters: Twisted dreams. I just can't do it. It's madness I say! I found that game challenging at the best of times, but the boss just takes the biscuit.
Also, Final Fantasy IX, Ozma. Secret ball aeon thing found in chocobo garden, just pure insanity of a battle. I have never seen a sound tactical plan of out of the window so fast.
