the original diablo had such a lame cop out of an ending. was there anything leading up to it that would suggest one should stick a piece of rock in your head? it makes sense with diablo ii, but at the time, you beat the game, so lame.

Heavy Rain. Stupid...stupid...stupid!
Which ending? I thought a few of them were actually pretty good.

OT: Red Dead. The ending was disappointing because, well, you know, I didn't want it to end that way, was a kick in the teeth.
Oh the way they just slid over the fact that you were controlling the murderer during one of the murders so IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HIM!!!! That just ruined the entire game for me.

Bioshock, not because it was bad, but because it was an ending. I loved that game... ;_;
this, except it was the boss battle that was disappointing. I fucking hated that THAT was the ending. Stupid.

other games with similar issues: God of War 3, Borderlands, the half life 2 episodes... (well, they were decent endings, but it couldve just kept going... and hey, it probably wouldve been finished if they had just wrapped the whole thing up and called it hl3) btw, sorry fro bringing hl up lol

God of War III it just destroyed any good feelings you felt for Kratos and made him feel too inhuman especially when the ending to the first game was so good.
Or fable II... NOTHING HAPPENS! boom! big tower gone, THAT'S IT! I guess you chose a path but if you choose the middle one, everything just resets.
And Brutal Legend. awesome game, awesome game, Bam final Boss shows up when you though the game was half-way over and you kill him the end.

Fallout 3 - stupid stupid stupid
Risen - Boom! ending, ther ya go finished!
Kotor 2 - Seriously wtf?
mafia 2 - i thought they'd give ya some actual free roam... nope
Dawn of war2 chaos rising: Not becuase it was a bad ending but because Abaddon shows up right at the end, Abaddon! the baddest fucker in the galaxy and instead of making a direct follow on thq are making a game about stinking orcs and smelldar... the two least signifigant races in the galaxy... well it could be worse.... soulstorm..
Not all is lost. There will still be a Space Marine Campaign in Retribution. It just also happens to have one for Pirate Orks, Eldar, and Tyranids as well.

I think Halo Reach, the ending felt really ambiguous, it had been set up from the beginning, so there was no real shock, and once you got there it was just you suddenly turning into a bad ass under the computer's control before finally dying, i guess it just sorta annoyed me.

HL2:EP2 pissed me off only because of the massive delay between it and EP3.
Seriously, Valve. Get your heads back in the game. Stop dicking around with L4D.

Probably Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, most recently anyway.
It was partly because Ezio's story never felt properly wrapped up, but it was more because of the monumental cliffhanger. I was all "Wait, what? No, no, you can't just end there! Naww!"
Well, I guess it served it's purpose, they've definitely got another sale out of me for the next game.
Ok, i can see the Ezio part of it, but the Desmond ending was amazinggggg.

ANYWHO, I gotta say the ending to Alan Wake or Mirrors Edge. But that's my honest opinion.

Honestly, the end to Ghosts n' Goblins on the NES, my entire weekend spent on that game, replaying and replaying that hard beast when i was a pudgy little kid. All to get an ending that wasn't even spell checked? Seriously almost cried myself to sleep.

Silent Hill's bad ending. I know it was the bad one, but I didn't try to get it and it was such a middle finger to me!

I too expected something different:

Like Ezio actually dying or something, would be the best way to wrap up his tale
But then, he has to have a kid eventually to carry on the bloodline to get to Desmond.
