Almost everything from Harvester is disturbing beyond belief. The gore is nothing I haven't seen before, but the cheesiness makes it kinda creepy.

Although not out yet the scene in God of war 3 when kratos rips off helios head, thats some brutal shit right there, i like gore in games but it felt kinda disturbing watching his eyes roll back and the flesh around his throat tearing away slowly, that is brutality to a new level

Ok people, besides the mentions of phantasmagoria, you all don't know what distrubing is. Dead Space has some of the most disturbing death scenes I've seen in a game. This one was my favorite.

Yeah, i guess they were fairly gruesome. But i tend to find that just violence doesn't always = disturbing. I find things that are far more eery, creepy and surreal to be more disturbing. But then again i'm fairly desensitized from violence in video games/films.

I agree creepy scenes are more distubing over gore, but that scene had both. Yes your head gets ripped off, but then it crawls down you neck and stares at you... from your body. *shudders*

Some of the cutscenes in Parasite Eve (PS1) gave me nightmares for a good(Or should I say bad) year. Mainly the rat transfromation. *Shudders* Oh and don't get me started on the dog transformation.

agreed. my personal scare-orite was Yuu in that chamber made of people (sorry, ive actually not beaten the game, ive just seen too much 4playerpodcast) and then getting ambushed by that girl.
