The curb scene from American History X was indeed pretty disturbed. Though I think the worst I've seen is the bit from that one movie (I think it's Brain Dead) where the old zombie lady pops a zit/cyst and the puss ends up in the guys custard - after which he procedes to eat it. It's not as much the scene specifically but rather the whole idea that utterly revolts me.

Hostel, as has been said a lot, has nothing on that, to me. The problem with it was that it was so overdone I could literally only laugh at the cheesy special effects. When I watched part one and came to the eyeball cutting part I simply couldn't take it seriously and kept thinking that the girl looked like she had pizza all over her face. Lulz ensued as everybody else in the room completely grossed out.

Anything from the movie "Teeth".

Don't fucking watch it.
Is that the one with the cannibalistic vagina? I never thought I'd have to ask that again.
...Again? Why again? Why would you ever have to ask that "again"?

And yes, it is.

It's not a scene, but the entire movie for the original "Last House on the Left" was thoroughly disturbing and unpleasant to watch. Well made, but damn...

I don't remember, but I'm kinda glad I forgot. The word 'disgusting' makes the matter dubiously subjective and way too psychological.

I hate to mention it. because then people will wiki/google it, and that's a bad thing - but the entire concept/execution/god knows what of 'Human Centipede'.

I...still makes me feel ill

I think I saw Michael Atkinson in a film once...

But seriously? Borat. All of it. Especially the naked fight.

There was a war movie I watched in history class, I think it had Tom Hanks in it, I just cant remember the name. But there was one part where some napalm goes off and they go to pick up this soldier who got caught in it, and all the skin comes off his legs, it wasn't exactly scary, it was just something that stuck with me.

Strange, a lot of people mentioned the bottle scene in Pan's Labyrinth, but that scene didn't bother me in the slightest. I thought it was actually quite awesome, maybe because I'm a sadistic bastard.

However, the only violent scene I've ever so much as cringed to was the fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible. I mean, his face slowly became a bloody mush, and that there was a guy masturbating in the background while it was happening.

A scene in Pan's Labyrinth where a hunter's face is beaten in with a bottle. Just made me feel ill watching it, even though I can watch gore-fests like Inglorious Basterds and District 9.
I'm probably a really bad person for this, but me and my mate laughed at that. My justification? Well, stuff doesn't really disturb me. If there's something totally disgusting, it won't stay with me. Anyway, we were sort of expecting it to be a dark movie, but sort of family friendly. Like a darker Tim Burton. So when he started beating the hunters face in it was so unexpected we just started laughing. We were both crying before we stopped. Cool movie though. In fact, the fawn is probably one of the creepiest/most disturbing things I've seen, so there you are. And he's the good guy!

Saw this last night with the sound down. I assumed he was being castrated. Is this not the case?

Anyway, on the Mad Mel theme, the cat o' nine tails whipping sequence in The Passion of the Christ is pretty disturbing.

There's a scene in the classic Russian film Come and See (a film which Spielberg showed to the cast and crew when making Saving Private Ryan) in which a boy is shot at with LIVE AMMUNITION, which is terrifying.

But the scene which has stayed with me forever is the bit in The Shining where Danny Torrance confronts the Grady twins. "Come and play with us..."

I can't believe this one hasn't been said yet:

The dead baby scene in Trainspotting. It's been ages ago since I've last seen that movie, but that scene is burned into my mind.

I agree with the Borat part. And to the people who think parts of Brain Dead were disturbing, I found them gross, but quite ridiculous and funny. Sometimes awesome.
